Do guys like at least a little makeup?

Not too much tho which makes things scary lol. Just a thin eyeliner, light shade of lipstick, and little foundation

Guys like their girl to look good - which often means at least a little makeup, yes. But most guys prefer the girl to have a "natural look" (even if makeup is necessary to achieve that - oh the irony!). We generally do NOT like the "made-up" look unless it's for a special occasion, OR unless, say, you live a whole lifestyle that goes with it, which makes it authentic.

If you were, say, a goth, or an alt-girl, then the makeup is part of the look, and that's okay. Otherwise - for the vast majority of girls - guys would prefer a more natural, toned-down makeup look (or minimal makeup if you can pull it off). Less is more.

OP, wear what you want to wear. Look good to yourself first, and then worry about what the men think. Things will naturally follow after that.
That being said, it's all a matter of personal taste when it comes to men. Some like make up, some don't. (My own little peeve is lipstick that stands out, like bright or dark red.)
So yeah... just apply what you think looks best! And if anyone gives you crap about it, tell them to take a long walk off a short cliff.

Generally, if I am going out ( and by out I mean weddings, parties
, first dates etc) I will go with the second look. Most of the time I won't wear makeup. Life too short to waste time in the mirror. Plus a really good facial routine will bring out fresh glowing skin anyhow!

Honestly, if a girl feels sexy for her own purpose by putting on some makeup then who am I to judge? However, that means if I want to throw on a plain pocket t-shirt or a crew neck t-shirt with some joggers, Nike's and a snapback on backwards she better not knit pick what I wear and say OMG why can't you DRESS MORE LIKE A GENTLEMAN!

The only time I dress up or dress accordingly is when I go to work, a wedding/function/event or a date or a funeral. Other than that I don't care about trying to impress girls by what I wear.

But just for example, the pic on the right isn't even too much make-up though, I wouldn't say... There's a difference between applying make-up and it looking good than there is just plastering it on there lol.

Of course! It's not necessary though, but it's nice. Just don't overdue it like you said. When we say you don't need makeup or we don't like it, it's usually just when it's over applied. And women often say they feel "ugly" without it and that's certainly NOT the case. Society/media wants you to believe that so you'll keep buying it, but it's not true.

You only get a first impression once, might as well make it the best one. This depends more on the woman as some women are more naturally beautiful. In my opinion the picture on the right is better, but both are good. For some women makeup can dramatically improve how they look
