I've gone fishing a few times with friends (though at the beach) and I usually wear jeans or shorts. If you are going fishing at the beach, I suggest bringing a jacket, as it can get windy and cold. Since it's a date, I suggest some jeans or shorts paired with a cute top that you don't mind getting too dirty or wet.
First off wear items that you don't mind getting wet, secondly wear something comfortable. I personally wear a bathing suit under shorts and a tshirt with flip flops, a baseball hat and sunglasses. Also, If you're meeting people who are important to him I definitely wouldn't wear anything too provocative.
Well if you have rain pants like these it will probably be a good choice! Otherwise you will have a wet bum the whole time which gets very annoying.

Practical clothes, practical clothes, practical clothes. Especially if you're going out on a boat. Worry less about looking cute. There's a non-zero chance you end up soaked too, so keep that in mind. Jeans and a t-shirt are probably a good place to be.

Just wear a t shirt n some jeans or shorts, maybe some tall rai boots. You're going fishing. That shits not fancy. You're prob gonna end up smelling like beer, sweat, and lake water, or beer, sweat, and salt water.
Practical cloths! If he asked you to go fishing I think he would like it if you tried to get stuck into it and had some fun. That is what he will be noticing. Not so much what you're wearing.
wear shorts. for the top you can wear tank tops. if you want to cover up more, put a light colour shirt over the tanks. get a hat as well if that is your thing.
Im not sure o xy bit i wouldn't sweat it. Jeans and a non white (in case you fall in) loose shirt should do ya. Maybe a hat and shades for the sun.
But its so far from a dtess up event that i dont even think you need make up. Just dress like you're going to see a movie with ftiends.
I've heard you can trust the gortons fisherman... so, a yellow rainsuit, black rubber boots, yellow rainhat, blue shirt to show at the neck... and if you wanna go all in, strap on a big grey beard
wear a bikini, I'm sure you'll look cute in that. make sure you put in sunscreen and have some sunglasses.
