I love them but it all comes down to your work place and their policies. In my workplace, that would be considered too long. Yesterday, I was called up for wearing a pencil skirt that was considered "TOO TIGHT' which makes no sense as I could walk perfectly. Further more, the female coworker said she could see my panties through it and that it was too short (LIES) . That was her opinion though, no one else had a problem. I guess you just have to use your own discretion but I personally like to stick to the rules when it comes to work and it depends on the type of job you do as well.

  Well this is a cultural hairstyle so I feel like it's such bs that these companies tell you what you can and can't do to your hair.

I don't see how they could be unprofessional. it's done and it looks neat. the only reason people say it's unprofessional is because it's a black hairstyle. I see white girls in corporate offices with very unkempt and unbrushed hair but no one tells them their hair is unprofessional because it's fairly straight.

Beautiful. Whether it’s unprofessional or not would have more to do with what your wearing than your box braids. So torn jeans and tank top wouldn’t work.

Not unprofessional at all. I like braids.. even though some girls could only have at the most 2 because of the texture of their hair..

Depends on what kind of proffesion we are talking about,
other than that i think it looks great and if there's something to be issued about your hair its the length and to the braids themselves
