because they dont make nice gents swimming costumes come to think of it they dont make much good stuff for guys, you go into a shop and there is 25 isles for ladies and 3 for men, same with the swimming costumes, ladies can have many different styles colours, 2 piece, one piece, etc, etc. us guys have shorts or speedos, and if my wife said i would like you to wear these i think that they would look sexy well guess what i would wear them
