Do people like or dislike when guys put up their long hair in a pony tail. I know using an unattractive example doesn't help but in general are they good or bad?
Also don't worry I've been putting up a ponytail since I was 12, so I'm not gonna stop based on the answers.
Well, what jennifer_bloom said sums it up. It depends on the shape of the face. Some are better with ponytail, some better without, some even better with short hair. But the more important, in the end, is that you like yourself when you look into the mirror. And you should UvU (I mean look at that face, you can like yourself xD)
that depends on the face and body and personality of the guy. I know guys who look ugly in pony tails and I know guys who look amazing in them. It seems most of the guys who have them look good.
I honestly don’t even know if a lot of Italian men wear this hairstyle but for some reason when I first saw it I thought Italian, but hey Italian men are sexy so win win.

Although Robert De Niro and al pachino r Italian men and they don’t have that hairstyle so I don't know , but they are American so maybe that’s why. All I remember is the guy from cheetah girls having that hairstyle while playing the guitar and now I think every man with that hair looks Italian lmao
Yeah also “man buns” are in so a lot of men also have this hairstyle right now. Example Aaron Taylor Johnson and he’s fine as hell with his hair in a bun and many other basic white men have man buns lol
I don't like calling them that because it's just a bun , why do we have to call it that? I call it a ponytail because that's what it is. I don't know I refuse to call whatever I wear a man bun for some reason.
My dad said the same thing when I called it a man bun it is dumb cause I don't know how a bun can be feminine and that’s why men feel like they need to call it a “man” bun, but I still call it that cause I don’t want to offend anybody by just calling it a bun.
Yeah I just remember being proud of saying "yeah I wear a ponytail, what of it" when my peers or gym teacher called me a girl or a fag because I wore my hair up. It just defeats the purpose of being able to wear your hair however you want without having to change its name. I understood tho
Well to be fair the day I was going to (since it got pretty old) he retired so... At that point I was just going to live and let live. He was old and I didn't care anymore
I used to rock one for 2 years but had to shave it all off cuz it was causing my hair to fall out a lot. just make sure you learn how to take care of it and dont pull hard all the time
Oh trust me I know not to tie it too tight so my hairline doesn't kill itself. I cut it shorter so I can take the weight of my head and let it breath sometimes.
I've always heard that ponytails on guys are a turn-off from random girls, I mean that doesn't really make me care, but lately I've noticed people are becoming more accepting of doing things regardless of gender, so I wanted to see what this app thought. :)
