Do a lot of guys love ponytails? Why?

we've been together for two years. Originally, he wanted my hair really volumized, tousled and messy, which seemed normal to me since I thought most guys loved that. But for the past six months or so, he's been really into ponytails. When I see him and I have a hair tie on my wrist, he begs me to put my hair back. I can't tell if he likes my face, hates me hair, or just likes ponytails. It just seems really unusual! I don't mind, but I am a bit confused

I'm always told that they are cute if you are going for the loungy look...but most guys I know prefer hair down...BUUUUUUUUUUT you can make a ponytail look nicer and not so loungy when you make a little "bump" in front (like pull back all your hair and where the bangs are bump it up a little)

Sounds normal to me. I go back and forth on what's my favorite look. Sometimes it's a ponytail, sometimes it's messy, sometimes long and straight. It just depends. I honestly couldn't say I have a favorite, because it changes.
