There's no such thing as gay clothes, so no. And you're right, it wouldn't be offensive if a gay person asked if something looked straight because they probably wouldn't feel the need to genuinely ask something like that. there's no such thing as looking straight and it would clearly be a joke. Wear what you like and know that no one relevant will give a crap about it, especially if you're alone in your underwear lol. Take it from this gay guy, unless you're wearing it to look cute for that hotty Rob from next door hoping he'll make a move, it ain't gay

Also here's my advice on masculinity and femininity. They're both attitudes. If you carry yourself in a feminine way you're gonna look feminine. If you carry yourself in a masculine way you're going to look masculine. The clothes don't make the man, you'd seriously be surprised how you can present yourself despite what you're wearing. I can make myself appear masculine or feminine without even changing my clothes just by changing my attitude (although granted I look naturally androgynous in the first place). It's all a confidence thing really and the way you carry yourself. Trust me dude what you're wearing sounds fine. I think part of growing into a healthier person is realizing that outside perceptions of you don't matter in the long run.
