I have a RBF too. Up until last year, I would forcefully smile all day so people wouldn't think I was rude but then someone told me that I shouldn't have to do that. It's my natural face and I shouldn't be changing it to make sure others are comfortable
As a guy I once innocently walked in a an near empty waiting room... and there sat a gorgeous woman with that face... who knows if im desirable but say hello, just to be polite and she's there probably thinking I'm just sitting here waiting for the mechanic to change my oil and i can leave' made me wanna pursue more tbh
It really doesn't bother me. The only way it would bother me is if I was in Dairy Queen and the people taking my order had a RBF and looked as though they wanted to burn the place down. But in every day life, I don't see a problem with it.
It perceived as you not enthusiastic or moody to many people but it actuality is not is just your natural resting face cuz I get the same way of people telling me smile cuz I have a poker face most of the time.
Where did the term "resting bitch face" come from? I would call it a straight face or relaxed face. And I've been told the same things by other people that you mentioned. I used to get pissed when they'd say "It takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile"... AARRGGG
There is really nothing wrong with it. Im a guy, and people tell me that I have it too. I find it funny that people prefer a fame smile, rather than a genuine face, albeit a "resting bitch face". Don't change yourself vecause other people tell you to, if they don't like it they can go f* themselves...
There's nothing won't with an RBF if that's who you are. However, a smile shows how peaceful you are inside. If you're not willing to smile maybe something is troubling you without you being aware of what it is. You don't have to put on a smile forcefully but when you do clear your mind of negative thoughts you will have a natural smiling face.
Itās probably āunattractiveā or disliked because you look mean or angry and no one finds thatās appealing to interact with because itās threatening.

Nothing sweetie, rock that resting bitch face, and if people don't like it, then show them your active bitch face and see if they complain then😂😂

Well, RBF normally makes people avoid you, so i just try to counter it by giving myself a curios gaze.
Oh, and if you're trying to find someone, do smile, but if your not trying to find anyone, then just keep up with the neutral expressionless face.

There's nothing wrong with it whatsoever. There's however something wrong with people who judge others by it
Ugh I've been told to smile more since I have a RBF. It's so annoying. It's probably because it makes them insecure.
Because smiling makes you appear less threatening. Ok, maybe that's a big word.
It just makes you look friendly.
Anyone would rather approach/talk to someone who is friendly rather than unfriendly.
That's the point though. These people are not being unfriendly. It's just how their face looks resting.
You can change that, or complain about it.
If you try to smile more, it will adjust.
No one with RBF would be complaining if other people just minded their own business
So, everyone with RBF (can't believe there's an acronym for this) relies their happiness (at least part of it) on what some random people say?
Do whatever you want, you can't control anyone.
That wasnāt the point but ok

There is nothing wrong with it. It's simply as you said, a neutral mode for your face. The people offended just need to get over it.
I didn't know resting bitch face was seriously a thing, they sounded like they were joking. What's the difference between a neutral and a bitch face?
Itās perceived as a negative expression so people call it bitch face rather than neutral face
Huh... I guess I have that then. Oh well, who gives a shit anyways?
Haha š I feel you

When people use that term they're talking about people who look like they're frowning, not people with neutral expressions.
RBF is less approachable. It sucks for people who have it because a lot of women are actually very approachable once you get past that.
I didn't know it was a thing.
"Give us a smile" or "smile more" comments make me, for the lack of better words, cringe.
Lol same here. Its your face and what if you over smile... I also have the RF and I love it. I dont smile in my pics but they are nice. lol
Because no one will like to converse with u if u just look miserable simply put
Looking expressionless isnāt looking miserable tho
That depends what u mean as most that have it tend to look miserable
Why is it either happy or depressed in your mind?
Not in mine it's just u described u had RBF which most times looks depressed
