Ok let me explain MY reason, not anyone else's.

I grew up listening to metal and punk and going to metal and punk shows. The girls there almost always had peircings and depending on where they are placed and how many, it can look really cool.

But my disdain for them comes when she gets too many and when they obscure her natural beauty. I like soft smooth skin and kissing someone with peircings all around her face is not fun, in fact it's annoying.

Now I have sympathy because I grew up being chastised for my look all the time. At the same time though, even as a punk rockish influenced guy I still never cared much for the overabundance of peircings.

I don't hate piercings, I just wouldn't get any for myself, because I would personally look ugly with piercings. On other people they're fine. But I can't imagine anyone hating piercings for any other reason than that they think they're ugly. After all, they're all superficial things.

Because they are unnatural. They aren't a humans body. They are man made objects, pierced through a humans flesh. It is creepy. It is as if there is some alien thing on her face that you want to get off of there. Deliberately poking holes through a woman's face isn't an attractive, desired thing by me. It just gives off a creepy, alien vibe. There is something there that shouldn't be. There is a hole there that shouldn't be. It is unnatural, that isn't how nature/God made us to look.

If you had a scars those are real, those are really you. You were cut, you burned and your real live tissue is still there it is just scared. Piercings are man made they are unnatural.

And to the reason you didn't want to hear, they look freaking hideous. I'd want a girl with natural scars on her face 100/100 over one that intentionally poked holes in their own faces to have foreign, manmade chunks of metal stuck in her face.

If I wouldn't find a girl with 10 botfly larvae growing in her face appealing why do you expect me to find other foreign objects stuck in her face appealing? I like all natural. Manmade, invasive objects in a face are not appealing, the concept is gross, holes are unattractive and it looks awful.

Its not as much the piercing itsself as the reasoning behind it, or lack thereof. To me it feels like the person was bored and "just did it", in wich case my question is "You were bored and the best you could come up with was poking holes in your body? Yeah sounds healthy id love to spend time with you...". Or the person didn't feel special enough and so had to go to the "extremes", though most will never admit to it. I know its not that black and white, ill even admit I've attracted to gals with piercings dozens of times, but i just dont undertand why, and since there is pain and mutilation involved the whole shit just gives me a negative vibe in general

I don't dislike piercings in general, but some, especially ones not professionally done, can be obtrusive or sometimes dangerous.
Even if they're well done they can be an issue. They can get caught on things, they're often a danger point for infections, etc. Suppose you find yourself in a hospital needing an MRI. You have a tongue piercing, hard to notice, with a metal stud in... guess what that MRI will tear that thing clean out of your mouth and take a good chunk of your face with it.
Plus some piercings are just plain distasteful.

I dont hate piercings in general.. I do dislike the ones that can mess up physical and sexual functionality.. Specifically genital piercings and nipple piercings. If done wrong it can ruin your ability to not only feed a child but it can also ruin your ability to orgasm.

I do hate most piercings, but I have no rational reason for that. But it really depends on location, some are attractive, some appear obscene.

Attractive piercings: earlobes, nostrils, nipples, belly button
Neutral: eyebrows, genital piercings
Unattractive: any other, especially septum, lip and tongue piercings

They're unnatural, you aren't born with pieces of metal stuck in your body so they obviously shouldn't be there. It's also a form of accepted self harm, like tatoos, you're causing pain and damage to your body, sometimes serious, but a lot of people seem to be ok with it. Some people like piercings because it seems appealing to them. Some people don't and it turns them off. It's as simple as that. There's no reason behind it because taste is something uninfluenced by reason.

I think what you might be confused with are the people who negatively express their dislike as some sort of objective fact and want you to conform to their own tastes.
