I don't mean based on purely aesthetically how they look, I mean you don't like them just because of what they are.
I don't understand the fundamental difference between the two that makes earrings okay but the rest not okay, yet a lot of people seem to see it that way.

Those who hate body/face piercings but are perfectly fine with earrings: what is your reasoning?
Mutilating your ears is fine (kinda; I still far prefer clip-on earrings to piercings), but mutilating your face is just disgusting. And body piercings (like on the nipples) just look tacky and gross; especially since the person usually has to be partially naked for them to even be visible.
As I said, clip-on earrings that don't require pierced ears are best, in my opinion. I don't like any method of damaging one's body just to "look good" or be a special snowflake, but that's just me. You do whatever you want.
I said I'd prefer no mutilation of the body at all, because it looks gross and disgusting. But at least the ears aren't that visible, especially the earlobes. Kinda hard to hide someone's face without a mask.
Of course ears are visible. They're more visible than the body piercings but you don't like the body piercings more still. I understand you'd rather None but I don't understand why you're more okay with earrings than the rest.
I said what I said. You simply disagree with it. Earlobes aren't visible to me behind people's hair or on the side of their heads. Regarding the big ear implant disc things that leave a giant hole in your lower ears, I don't like those either; they look horrible.
And regarding body piercings, I already said most people who get them love to show them off, especially men cause can go topless in public. If someone had body piercings but they were never visible (including women's nipple piercings being visible through their shirt), I wouldn't care about them other than it seeming painful and unpleasant to think about.
Earrings for some reason look like they're meant to be there and they actually enhance your look in some cases. In other places, they look ridiculous and out of place.
A nose hoop ring? Are you trying to look like a bull? Or you like the look of deformity? Or maybe some long ass nose hair?
Earrings make your neck stand out, make it longer I think if you’re wearing dangling earrings. My parents got my ears pierced when I was a baby (cultural thing). And then when I was 17, got my helix and upper lobe pierced at a tattoo parlour and it was the most painful experience ever. The piercings closed up a bit now so I’ll try to reopen them since I paid like $90 for them.
Personally, I'm not fine with any kind of body modification, including earrings and nose-rings. It's just that earrings are more socially acceptable due to a long tradition of women wearing them. There's actually no good reason for them to be more acceptable.
There is a big difference.. The ears are on the head but not the face.. Certain areas just seem unsanitary, like the septum nose piercing, or lip and tongue piercings.. Plus I wouldn't wanna face a piercing on my lips or when I touch their faces.. Plus too many tattoos or piercings means you might have deep issues you haven't gotten over..
Earrings are on the side of the face, not the front. I most likely dont have to see the earrings when i stare at them from the front. Personally, the only facial piercing i like on a guy is an eyebrow piercing. But i prefer he does not have pierced ears nor tattoos
Earrings on a guy make him look feminine. Facial piercings look nasty when the piercing is removed and the scar is there. When lip piercings are removed, it look like they have a huge cold sore
To me it is the thought of it being annoying, disgusting or painful. It is a mental thing for sure, not that logical. But my face is more sensitive than my ears, and nipples and genitals even more so, just thinking of the latter makes me very uncomfortable, so seeing it brings those feelings. Though, I am more ok with the face, the nose is a bit disgusting with boogers and the lips with food.

I’m not a fan of piercings anywhere, including ears, but I am more used to seeing pierced ears. I guess that’s the only difference.
I just don’t see what’s “beautiful” about impaling yourself. Not saying you can’t do what you want—by all means, knock yourself out—but, since you asked for opinions, a piercing of any kind can only detract from your appearance.
I'm fine with no piercings at all. To me, body piercings are disgusting. They spoil the appearance of the body and are unnecessary. In my opinion they are not the mark of modest, respectable people. Nose rings look best on slaves or pigs. I would not date a girl with body piercings.
Okay so you wouldn't date a girl with any piercings, or just with piercings below the neck? If the latter, is there a reason you see body piercings as worse than head piercings?
Yes, I just wondering if you think body piercings are worse than head piercings and that's why, although ideally she would have none, it wouldn't be a deal breaker unless they were body? Or did I not understand what you said?
Your body is your temple and you can decorate it like you please. I am not big on facial piercings. It somehow takes away from your beauty but that doesn't mean some people don't look good with it. Just do what makes you happy.
Eh I’m fine with it, it’s just the aesthetics for me. Also, I have a belly button piercing so I can’t really talk 😂 what I say is do what you want as long as you’re not hurting anyone 🤷♀️
I used to hate them until I saw this beautiful girl with them on her face at the Dade County youth fair and she was staring at me like she liked me. Now I want my future girl with them on her face if possible as long as she’s a good person
I have found that those with nose rings are generally submissive, and usually to one person or one cause. Leather, on the other hand, has no stigma attached to it.
