Do guys LIKE it when girls dress scantily around them?

Self-explanatory question. I'm asking as a girl who has a tendency to cover her figure up (knee-length dresses/skirts, jeans, large shirts, ect). I always feel unattractive around the opposite sex because I don't 'flaunt' as much as the females around me do. Are you guys uncomfortable when girls dress kinda scantily? Or do you prefer that over 'modest' girls? (I'm a very open-minded non-feminist, so feel free to give me you RAW opinions. I'm not asking so I can judge, I'm asking because I'm honestly curious about how the men of our society feel about how women dress and put themselves out there). Peace!~ ✌🏻

Guys like hot girls. Girls look hotter when they dress hot. Not to say that you have to dress like a slut, because you shouldn't, but tbh guys like it.

But if a guy likes a girl in a real way, more than a sexual way, then it won't matter how they dress because he likes her for her. Sure, girls who dress slutty might get more guys, but it's for all the wrong reasons.

Maybe dress a tad bit less conservative from time to time, but don't think you have to.

I personally don't mind either way. I have friends that dress very provocatively and I have friends that dress quite moderately but I live in Shanghai... so, I don't know if I'm included in your society or not.

Not exactly. It's more like, dress for how you feel comfortable yourself. Or for what you want to dress for, whether it be success, for study, for rollin' sleeves, for slackin', for kicking, for summer, for winter, for work, for you. Whatever feels right, it's all there because we have knowledge we're naked and we're relatively hairless apes. You don't have to worry about modesty or flaunting, you'll attract the guys you want by dressing for what feels right to you. If your boobs have a tendency to destroy society around you, just put a cardboard box on if you don't want the attention.

You dress for the occasion or place. Conservative for school or a business meeting. A little flashier for a date. If you are out at a bar and looking to attract attention then dress to show off your best attributes which could be cleavage, legs, butt etc. Chkse colors and styles that flatter your figure. If your out with a boyfriend and your serious about some intimate time then make sure you have on great looking lingerie under your attire that will get his motor revved up. It's all a matter of where you are and what kind of attention you want.

I'd say just dressing well in a manner that suits you is more important than how much/little skin your outfit shows. Dressing scantily can be sexy but kind of loses its value if you do it too much, just in my opinion. On the other hand, being too conservative maybe undersells how you look. I'd just say pick the clothes that you like best which you think look good on you.

A girl who flaunts may attract more initial attention but as the guy gets to know the different "Girls" it becomes a more level playing field. TBH I don't think this matters as much to guys as girls think like you have sexy girls on the internet and wall to wall scantily clad girls on MTV anyway so its not like it is a rare sight.

I like it when I see a girl dressed scantily. She looks sexy and a little exciting. However, it's also distracting, and the scantily clad girl, is not the one who I would get into a relationship with. For relationships, I want a more modestly dressed girl. And no, I don't go after girls who are scantily dressed, I only like the way they look, because it's sexually attractive, and I'm a guy. Given a choice, I would be around more modestly dressed girls.

I prefer women who are modest towards the world but open to me. If you're in a relationship with a guy and you wanna dress down then he'd be thrilled. If you're single then walking around half naked will get you the wrong type of attention (assuming you don't want the world to think you're a body without a brain). Also +1 for non-feminist.

Guys who want a slut will like it if you dress like a slut. Those guys don't like relationships very much and are just thinking with their dick.

Guys who want a serious relationship will like that you don't dress like a slut because girls who are slutty usually cheat or otherwise screw their man over if he isn't paying 100% attention all the time about what she is doing.

So depends on what kind of men you want to be interested in you.

Scantily clad women excite something in me sexually so it does attract me in that sense. However I am more attracted to the modest type as you described for relationships, it's a relief to not have to defend my woman as much from the excited dudes operating on their second brain. So don't feel unattractive, by the sound of it the type of dudes you would attract if you dressed scantily are probably not your cup of tea.
