How do you feel about crop tops?

Crop tops are a huge thing right now. How do you feel about them and do you actually wear them yourself? I personally would never wear a crop top because I don't like showing that much skin and don't want to send the wrong message to people

Theyre cute, very stylish in many cases. you dont have to show tons of skin, but if you want to, then thats cool too. I don't really care about anyone getting the wrong message though. I just wear what I want to wear, unless its for work/professional events.

But again, not all cropped styles are extremely skimpy and a lot of people wear them in ways that aren't as revealing as other styles. I do both, but usually less skin is more comfortable unless its summertime.

I love to wear crops with high waisted jeans/pants, skirts high on the waist, pencil skirts, etc. It's just very cute to me. I like all kinds of crops, from tanks to sweaters, but I do love an off-shoulder crop, esp. with billowy long sleeves. Thats my favorite. There are a ton of ways to wear crop tops, but if you dont like any skin showing, passing on them is cool too. I think anyone should wear them if they want to. Preferably styled well, but whatever, live your life.

Those are nice combinations, but I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing them. I would wear the all-black outfit, but with a shirt underneath an leggings. But that red skirt is beautiful. I would wear that one if the crop top was long-sleeved

Nothing wrong with that - everyone is different. You sound more conservative in your style. And there are longer, long sleeved crop tops. Rock it the way you like to! :)

I have two Hollister shirts I've just bought that are pretty much designed to be crop tops when you move but aren't. Wear highwaisted jeans and it cancels out.

That's one of the few crop top looks I like. If they're worn with high-waisted pants or a skirt, they look more tasteful

I'm sort of conflicted on it. There is nothing intrinsically promiscuous about crop tops, because the midriff is not an erogenous body part. However, maintaining that crop tops are indicative of other promiscuous behaviors has not failed me yet...

I get that it may not be a popular opinion, but I wear modest clothing because I'm a modest person and don't want people to think otherwise. I already deal with enough sexual harrassment due to my body type and I don't want to give perverts any more reason to harass me than they already have

Well I get sexually harrassed at work by wearing high-waisted pants with a work shirt, so either one can send the wrong message depending on your body type, fit of pants, and the guys you're going to be around
