I don't care. People can wear whatever they wants to, but I do honestly enviously those ones with a perfect eyesight and that don't need glasses at all. I wish I didn't need to wear mine to see properly, but I'm too sensitive to use contact lenses and not into expensive surgeries either. I think I looks way better without them.
I don’t get how others can be bothered by such a TRIVIAL fashion choice. People who wear glasses for style get non prescription lenses. So it’s fine. I honestly don’t give two shits about how the next person chooses to dress and I’ve been wearing prescription glasses most of my life.
I know that it really pisses some people off when people wear glasses for style and not sight. I personally do not understand at all how wearing glasses can be made into a style, so I just find the whole unnecessary glasses for style, confusing.
I believe most of the time the glasses aren’t meant to increase your style, so much as it increases your facial features. Men who want stronger jaw lines typically go with something more round because it make your jawline look stronger by contrast. So I would say it not about making your clothes or outfit look together it’s about making your face look better.
ahhh that's probably the best best reason as to why people would wear glasses, since yeah I dont really think that wearing glasses could add to much to a clothing outfit.
I do this. I think it's cool. It's just jewellery. It makes me look more intelligent - not my words, but others'.
My glasses have a blue light filter as well, which makes my eyes less strained while looking at screens. Vital when you spend 4 - 6 hours a day in front of various screens like me.
It makes you look like a guy that has a mildly debilitating condition, it hides your eyes, it reduces the range facial expressions you can produce, it makes you look less confident and anyone that hears that you think it makes you look smarter will automatically classify you as a dumbass.
I dislike glasses so I'm in the stupid/annoying group. It makes no sense for someone to pretend they have a disability in order to make themselves look worse and call it a style

Even if they're not for vision correction, they might still have a purpose. The lenses block UV light, and you can get transitions lenses that darken so you don't need to carry sunglasses. If you have problems with glare at night, you can get lens coatings for that, too.
I don't see anything wrong with it. I've even done it a few times if I'm feeling in the mood to wear them and I find glasses extremely sexy whether they are prescription or not
Oof people are annoyed and triggered about the stupidest things these days. I wear prescription glasses and i picked trendy ones to wear as they look cute af. I don't care if some people wear them for fashion.
Put it this way, if it is prescription, and not shades or safety glasses/goggles, then that person has no business wearing them. It's insulting to those of us that have to wear them to be able to see. It's mockery. I don't like it. That is my opinion on the matter.
Because of the nature of my job, I've noticed my vision is changing and I'm actually looking into lasik surgery. I think for others it might be a fashion choice, but not for me..
I don’t really care. Obviously I’m a bit jealous of those who don’t need corrective lenses, but at the same time, it doesn’t affect me in the slightest.
