Like a man's suit, it all depends on the suit.
Any man who has worn more than a few suits can tell you that a $500 off-the-rack suit will not look as sartorially pleasing as a tailored $5000 suit.
I have never worn a woman's suit, but I would think that the same thing applies to women. If the suit is ill-fitting, of course it won't be as sartorially pleasing as one that fits just right and accentuates all the right spots. Cheap $100 suits don't work terribly well for men, and I assume that they don't work for women as well.
Having said that, if the suit looks good, and fits them great, I'm all for it. For me, a woman can definitely look great wearing a suit.
However, men are not a monolithic entity, so we all have different opinions about this.
You will find that a fraction of men hates the very idea of women in suits. You will also find another fraction of men who hates women wearing pants suit, but are okay with women wearing skirt suits.
Having said that, you should not base your wearing of a suit on what men do or do not find appealing. If you like it, or it's required, just wear it. To hell with what they think!
Love this response thank you!
You're most welcome!
I like the one in the picture. Not sure about in general. In general suit designs were centered around the male figure without the pelvic tilt women have for pregnancy, the broader ribcage, broader shoulders, the overall squarer look. It might help in some ways to offset the suit given that the girl is wearing heels in the picture, which will tend to accentuate the tilt to the lumbar spine and pelvis. Squaring a female's look will tend to make her look more like a man. And I'm a heterosexual so I tend to prefer girls moving in the opposite direction.
Thanks for your opinion
Cheers. I might have a cultural bias but from my standpoint in visual arts, the male and female nude figure are obviously quite different. So trying to accentuate the natural features of the two forms leads to very different designs in fashion. I think the girl in the picture balanced it well enough with a softer fabric and heels, but in general I think the female figure warrants a whole different approach from a male, and vice versa, if we are to accentuate the differences in their features.
I think some women can really rock a nice suit but it doesn’t always look good on every woman... I don’t know, I get the sense that suits are not for every woman, perhaps they are but they need to find the right size and fit.

My bisexual ass be quaking when I see a woman in a suit. Did you see Cara Delevingne in her suit at the royal wedding? I was shook
No I don’t. I like pencil skirts
Me too!

I clicked on "other" because I think it depends on the woman. Some women suits it and others doesn't. If they looks young, feminine and pretty they can pull it off. Old and masculine faced women wouldn't be able to achieve the same look. Ellen Degeneres looks decent and suits suit in a way, but isn't attractive. I wouldn't date women like her since it's not my cup of tea. If you looked like Scarlet Johanson, Eva Green, Adriana Lima or Keira Knightley you could pull it off. I think some femininity in both the clothing and vibe is good. The woman on the picture in your question is a good example on a woman that suits that look.
These women suits the suit.

I like blazers and formal attire, yes.
Straight up "I'm presenting at an important meeting" suit up like the one pictured above is not quite as visually attractive as I would like, but I appreciate it nevertheless because I like power fashion.
The higher end of business casual (like this picture) is the sweet spot for me, aesthetically speaking.
I think a suit doesn't really give feminine features a plus. They tend to make your shoulders broader among other things. I would say no to the suit, but I do find blazers paired with jeans, or a skirt attractive. Guess I just dont like the suit pants haha.
Yes! Very empowering and stylish. looks nice and professional, gives a sharp look and women wear suits better than men (my opinion)
Suits don't do a good job of displaying their beauty. It's not a matter of society being conditioned to thinking that suits are masculine because it's the main and most common formal wear for men. It's that it genuinely does not look feminine.
If she's as hot as this chick she can wear whatever she wants ;) but generally no, a suit makes a woman's figure more masculine. This is in fact the best I've ever seen a woman look in a suit, normally it's much worse
Depends on how it looks on the person. They gotta find one that suits them. But yes, typically it can make anyone look good.
It generally detracts from their looks but a good looking women will still be good looking in a pants suit.
Especially if it shows all of her figure and curves. If she is confident and knows how to pull her authority.
You get a dress if you want to showcase the body.
No its masculine and I prefer feminine looking women, but if you are going for formal I think its fine but i dont like it
I do, but I tend prefer a suit with a skirt, rather than pants, but that is just my own preference.
Oh yes, that makes it a lot more bearable.
If she is long shd think it will look good. Not e engine looks good in suits men included.
OK as long as it's not Hillary Clinton, honestly she's kind of ruined the look it's like Stalin or somebody like that wore it.
No, I usually prefer women in pants, but not in suits.
I like them in skinny jeans, shorts, sweatpants, or yoga pants.
Sometimes, although i think women's suits are getting out of style so they probably won't look good to most
In general, I prefer skirts to pants. I wear more kilts than trousers myself. Bifurcated lower garments are for riding astride.
Maybe not exactly disgusting, but I find it quite off-putting.
Depends on the suit. Hate high heels though. They look stupid.
Yes. if they fit them properly. Similar to the one in the picture...
Yes, that woman in the picture is very appealing 😍
Girls can wear what girls wanna wear, they should wear what their comfortable in, that my opinion
Definitely alluring to see a pretty woman who looks professional, but takes it further with good tastes in fashion!
Men don't find women in suits and more appealing than women find men in dresses.
Oh yes, very much so. Classy looks are best.
Who cares. Women in suits probably got more important things to do than care about what a bunch of virgins think how threy look
Pencil skirts my ex said I looks bad in a suit
