When you're going bald you often heard the phrase, "just shave it all". But this is assuming that you can actually pull off a bald look. In my opinion, the majority of men cannot pull it off. To look good bald, you have to have a strong jawline, cheekbones, small ears.
If you have a weak chin, big ears and no hair, all the attention will go to your less than favorable physical features. A good example I can think of is Ted Mosby. The only reason he looks attractive is his hair.
So when people say shave it off, they're really saying accept being ugly.
What are you supposed to do if you're stuck with it and you cannot pull it off and everybody your age expects you to have hair?

Sometimes you don't have a choice, unless you want to look like Prince William. Balding doesn't look good either. So least you've owned it, one way or the other. You're best spending time fighting battles you can actually win. Sometimes weaker features are due to having excess pudge. Clean up the diet, and workout. Might be a cliche, but there's some merit to it. Everyone looks better when they work out and are healthy.
I think just let nature takes it course. Yes there's some more expensive ways of dealing with it. But I think those guys should rather just accept it and hopefully having someone loving on the side that accepts it too. If it really looks that ugly for the guy, maybe wear more hats more often like some of the guys I know that are going bold.
this is excellent advice. Physical attraction is definitely relevant, but why focus your attention on something you cannot control anyway? Personality and how you present yourself, how well you are able to connect to people and make them feel good about themselves are a lot more important in getting people to be attracted to you.
@Pulimuli I know plenty of fat bald and otherwise unattractive guys with beautiful wives or girlfriends. And before you say it, They dont have money either but they do have confidence in themselves.
@Pulimuli maybe it is hard for you to believe it, but how a person looks is only one factor in making someone attractive. We are trying to tell you that confidence is the key to attracting women & I would say men as well. When you feel comfortable with yourself, others can sense it and it is a very attractive quality because you know that this person will not need you to constantly give pep-talks and just believe that they are cool and you like them. It is VERY exhausting to be around people that are not ok with themselves. Maybe try being less focussed kn what you & other people look like and try to get to know the person.
Kept mine until my haircut started to resemble a combover, so i shaved it I pull it off, I have been told I pull it off Just don't know if I fit the poster's idea of being able to pull it off. All opinion I guess. One of those things that is purely subjective to the observers views. I also wear a goatee.
Male baldness is a sign of high testosterone. Im going bald and i have a thick thick beard and a huge sex drive. Im 32 and get tons of girls after my shit. I literally had two girls ask me to come to their place tonight (i said no because i just started dating someone and not into hookups anyways) so i think it makes guys more attractive to women because i didn't even do anything to get these girls interest.

That may be your opinion so to speak, but a fact not at all. Even a person who's perfectly healthy can have baldness, and even one who isn't as healthy can have great genes and great hair, altho it'd probably get gray fast. I don't know where you got the often statistics, but I can tell you most of the world's population gets bald one way or another, and it seems just a bit too coincidental they all do especially when they get old. Genes are definitely not the only factor in this equation, but counting it out is foolish.
I'm going bald, I haven't shaved my head but I've cut it short and I feel way more confident and I've received a lot more female attention since doing that as well.
Going bald is the easiest and cheapest route. It’s just a matter of preference though, really. There are a great many options available, like hair plugs.
Yeaaah, I was mostly referring to restoring a hairline. However, I have heard that a hair transplant for a more rapidly balding patient could work, however it likely wouldn’t give him a thick head of hair. In which case it’s probably not worth it in the end..
Shave and remain bald if you loosing too much of hairs. At first it feels uncomfortable but as time pass by people get used to by seeing you as bald everytime
Just hope for the best man, and work out as hard as you can; muscular bald guys look way better than skinny bald guys.

Some girls are fine with it. I have an old friend who is super balding and doesn't even cut it off. And he's engaged. Lol
I trimmed off my hair recently and then a friend asked me to go out with her.

I shave mine, and I'm not balding. I kinda wish all mine would just fall the fuck out so I wouldn't have to shave it every damn day. I love having a slick dome
Life goes on. Wear a cap, bandana, something to accessorize my head. As much as I'd miss having hair, at least I wouldn't have to worry about bad hair days.

Actually, Ted Mosby would look pretty good bald, in my opinion.
There are guys for whom being bald is a total disaster, but not him.

The Chinese idea behind balding is actually quite sophisticated, and quite valid. Depending on the pattern. Excess yin (cogitation, yin foods, refined sugars, drugs etc) front of the head, for example. Also correspond to the various organs. Weak kidneys are indicated by balding at either side of the front, traditional balding pattern. Also associated with poor sexual function. Yeah, could go into depth, but won't :)
Thanks, thats super intersting,:) i know i had thinning at 20 in those areas, in doctor terms it was a thyroid issue but i always look into if further. It wouldn't surprise me if it was kidneys because I've always had kidney type issues on and off throughout life, i wrote it off to too much hair bleach lol. Thanks! Basically, Western diets are considered to be inherently unhealthy. Excessive animal products. Excessive refined grains. Excessive refined sugars. Excessive refined oils. By centring one's diet on *cooked* whole grains, fresh vegetables, and some legumes, it should clear a lot of things up, healthwise. You can then fill the rest of your diet in with some of the other stuff. In moderation. And eating with your constitution (yin yang, and your element type). It's really interesting and helpful stuff, for sure.
If I'd have read that shit 15 years ago, I probably wouldn't have lost half my hair, and I wouldn't have had most of the health issues I had (which have mostly disappeared now).
I actually already do all that combined with seeing only holistic and naturopathic doctors, i dont believe much in what actual doctors have to say. I believe all they are doing is putting a band aid to deeper issues, which normally dominos into more issues.
Id assume your hair would come back after changing all of those things, youve never thought to search deeper, to see if its something else,? I don't know im always into looking further, i never accept a final answer.
If they worked we would know it and every guy with a receding hairline would use them. Alternative medicine is either not proven to work or proven not to work. Treatments that are proven to work are called "medicine".

@SexyAshh, once the hair follicle has died, no more hair can grow there, as I understand it. So you can certainly slow the rates of recession, arguably, with the correct lifestyle and diet. But if someone goes bald, there ain't no hair growing there.
