Why Are Hollow Cheeks Considered Attractive?

I’ve heard hollows are universally considered attractive, in girls and guys

That is strange.

Usually we associate hollow cheeks to malnutrition, or someone who has lost a lot of weight recently, due to drug addiction, or from some chronic disease.

There are many people who get dermal fillers to "plump out" their cheeks to MINIMIZE their hollow cheeks. In many cosmetic surgery material, it is often referred to with the words: "the patient desires to have a healthier look."

Now, when it comes to Chiseled cheekbones, and a chiseled jawline, I would say that yes, they are often considered attractive physical traits in men as those are usually taken as a sign that that the man is healthy and has a low body fat percentage.

Because chubby cheeks are the sign of physical immaturity.
Children have round faces but as we age, we lose fat and gain more dramatic facial features.

Fat in face usually looks worse, even if it makes you look younger.
Here is a good example of the effect on Angelina Jolie and how she would look like with cheek implants to have a plumper face.
She does look younger on the right, but in my opinion, also a lot less attractive, as she no longer possesses that dramatic mature facial appearance, which for me at least is a huge determinant of attractiveness.

IDC about Hollow cheeks in girls.. It kina would show me that they are skinny.. But it don't always mean that.. I guess cause it shows that you have a fit body, and it's more "model" like..
