Girls can share their thoughts too :)
What do you think of girls with tattoos?
Girls can share their thoughts too :)
for me, it's an ugly sight. why? because by first glance, it says that there body is their own and not the one who purchased them with his own blood. if it was a thing done in the past, and she got saved and regrets it, still wouldn't go for it. but if the female had in interest in me and i likewise, one of the things i would bring up is tatoo removal. in God's word (the King James Bible) it says that we are not suppose to cut ourselves. it is also written that we are suppose to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service. and again it is written that we who are saved, our life is not our own, and we are not our own but his that died for us and rose again. who? God Almighty, that's right, God Almighty, not an archangel, not a different god from the Father, the one God of heaven, earth, and Israel died for all men. and if you claim to be Christian, that wouldn't look good because it is written that we are not suppose to conform to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. just as God called Israel to be separate from the wicked nations round about it, so too we as born again Christians be separate from this world
Wtf π
Rop :/
As I said on a recent post, it says to me (and I totally get that many feel differently) that we don't share the same values and standards.
I don't know what you want to do with your life, or if you even realize that the priorities you have today might be radically different 10 or 20 years down the road, but getting tattoos like that WILL either exclude you from many (very profitable) careers or will at the very least make it needlessly difficult.
If you wear different clothes or dye your hair or shave the side of your head, that can be left behind 5 years from now and you can reinvent yourself. Tattoos are forever.
In the corporate world, I have seen tattoos limit the careers of both men and women - you won't get positions where you will represent the company, whether it's Sales, Marketing, Support, or Management.
Even if you own your own business, visible tattoos will be a turn off for many potential customers.
I know that exceptions exist, but largely, visible tattoos will limit you to the bottom half of the ladder for the rest of your life. Is that a smart decision?
My mother and my sister each have small tattoos (they can be hidden, but they are sometimes visible - on their ankles). That doesn't change how I feel about them.
But you're not even talking about a small, hideable tattoo - you're talking about "something extreme" (in your own words), like a sleeve. That's going to be seen by everyone every day (unless you wear long sleeves every day of your life), and those people WILL judge you and many WILL think negatively of you even if they are nice to your face - and they WILL limit you in many situations and career fields.
With a tattoo, especially a bigger one, there's never a second chance. Even "tattoo removal" leaves scars and obvious marks. You won't get to outgrow it and change your mind.
Change your hair, your clothes, your music, etc. and you can always change them again later and there is no long-term impact, but a tattoo will live with you for the rest of your life, for good and bad.
Not a fan of a lot of tattoos on anyone. Small ones with significance are ok, but they shouldn't draw all my attention to them. Also, stupid tattoos are a big no no.
I like tattoos on a girl, as long as they are not extreme or untasteful WHERE they can be seen publicly.
in private places for a special SO is okay..

I think large tattoos can be beautiful, but it's certainly not a "requirement" to be attractive or anything. It doesn't matter to me if she has full sleeves, or if she has large tattoos on her thigh (s) or back. As long as her tattoos are not morbid, racist or otherwise obscene, then I think they can be attractive. I'm good with it. 👍😊
Best answer ever :)
Haha. Thanks. π Yeah, I've always been attracted to tattooed women as well. I don't know what it is specifically, but it can be beautiful when tastefully done. Are you thinking of getting large tattoos done? Or were you just curious what people thought about them in general? π
Both. I want to get a tattoo like on my arm /shoulder maybe like a semi sleeve kind of. Well based on the other comments I've been shocked. I like the kind of tattoos that show something that have a meaning behind that and not just anything random
Yes! Exactly! Me too. π That's one thing I often post about when people here on GAG talk about getting tattoos. I always say to absolutely make 100% sure it means something to you personally - more than it just "looking cool". I believe tattoos should have a much deeper meaning, and that the best ones speak to that person on a much deeper level, because those are the ones that you'll never regret having over time. Glad to see you're of the same opinion. π
Was there something in particular you want to have tattooed? π You don't have to say though. I'm just curious by nature. π
Yea even if some people may not get the meaning. And sure let's talk in chat if u would like :)
Yeah, even if no one else understands the meaning, as long as it is deeply meaningful for the person who has them, that is all that matters, and why it is never a "waste of money" or a "frivolous" thing to do. Tattoos should be all about what they represent for the person wearing them and not what they are to other people. π And okay, we'll chat instead. π
I think tattoos on women can be very beautiful and fun. In certain areas can leave a guy guessing what it looks like under the clothes. My favorite tattoos on women are colorful. Though I also thinks tattoos should have a meaning to the person. Thigh ir arm sleeve like the one in your picture can look beautiful on a woman and accentuate her beauty and shows an adventurous side.
Really good point :)
A tat can look nice & be a work of art but: 1.) it always makes you less attractive than you were without it. I mean, you might be a hot art canvas but not a hot woman. 2.) in most cases tats donβt even look good. More like someone got realistic STD sores glued all over their body. Nasty.
I wonβt assume youβre a slut tho although 95% of dudes WILL.
I don't care for tattoos as a general rule, and if they exist, then they better have an excellent story behind them- like commemorating a life-changing event or a deceased friend or relative.
I think it is ugly and unattractive. I hate it.
The metaphor "putting graffiti on a work of art" defines how it looks to me perfectly. I think it is horribly ugly and 100% unnatural looking.
I hate seeing women I think are gorgeous but they are marked up with ink.
Unattractive unless it's something small and simple. I have seen women who looked like monsters because of their tattoos. Gross. And then there are girls with a small butterfly or flower on their hip or lower back. That's fine.
I think tattoo are great. They only become unattractive if the tattoo are bad or if they get like face tattoos
I don't have any tattoos and I don't want any but I have nothing against them (I used to want one). For the most part I do find them quite sexy on girls as long as they're not plastered with them and they look tidy.
I find it unappealing and indicative of personality traits that I do not want in my partner.
But when it comes to strangers with tattoos, it's their choice, I don't have an opinion either way and I do not perceive them in an inherently negative way.
Their tattoos show a rebellious side of them, since tats on women aren't that common, if a woman chooses to get them anyway and swim against the current, when tats give no advantage in life at all and they're neither negative or positive, it does show bad parts about the woman and kind of shows a glimpse of unstability, that's what I think.
if it looks good, I rate it although am not a tattoo lover myself.
I got no problem with whether anyone has a tattoo or not. It's how they treat others that matters.

Low class.
Just looks tacky and wouldn't be the type of girl I would want to introduce to my family.
Wow I'm Shocked. I won't talk about the people who said they don't like tattoos that's their opinion and totally acceptable. I'm talking about the people who said that girls with tattoos are slus. Or need to be sailors. Or low minded. Or that they'd be ashamed to meet the girl to their family. What our society came into? Would you judge your buddy if one day decides to tattoo him self? Or would u judge your sister if one day decided to tattoo her self? Those stereotypes and criticism.. Tattoos have a meaning behind. Not every girl with tattoo is a slut. Instead check the way she is dress or act. Just to get clear I don't have any tattoos. Before u think that someone is stupid to waste money on tattoos either it's guy or girl. Think possible ways it may was a fucking gift. Or even if they did waste their money good their opinion. Maybe u waste ur money on '' useless'' stuff too but for you they are not. It's like I'm seeing a guy with tattoos and handsome and has a luxury car and think that he is a fuck boy. Like I gave him the tittle fuck boy.. See? Weird right? So before u judge someone get to know them first even if they have tattoos piercing or whatever. They might be the best personality and souls ever.
Don't let it get you down. A lot of reactionary types on this website. I was hoping that Generations Y and Z would be more open to diversity and finish what my generation (X) started. I come to this website and come away disappointed. But then I go to college campus events and my hope gets restored a little. Seriously though, while choosing your ink carefully is important (picking something that will likely still mean something, being savvy about what certain symbols mean, and last but not least, proper skin care and maintenance to minimize the need for it to be repaired as you age), it's not nearly as taboo in the West as tired old reactionary curmudgeons make it out to be. Though the US isn't quite as open to it as... say... the Netherlands is (yet), I've had bosses and teachers that have them, and I see them on people from all walks of life. And I live in the South (so lots of tattooed women in short shorts and tank tops; that said, nearly all of them are placed in a manner that they would NOT be visible while wearing business attire or work uniforms). The only developed nation I can think of where it's still a major taboo is Japan, where tiger and dragon tattoos are still associated with gangs (so I'd have to be careful with my Chinese dragon ouroboros).
Tattoos these days are just a trend, there's rarely any meaning behind them; it's just a way for insecure people to stand out and get attention.
And a lot of places in the world such as Asia, south America etc, tattoos are associated with low class criminals & gangsters. In fact for a lot of the older generation and young professionals it's almost an embarassment to get a tattoo. I work in the medical field, and can you imagine how unprofessional it would make me look to have a full sleeve etc, I would be ashamed.
But it is true that you don't see a lot of people from middle class families getting tats, it's mostly a low class/poor thing. My sister would never tats because she was raised correctly to be a lady with dignity, not a cheap moral- less hoe.
@LawrenceKen, I canβt believe this social conservative bullshit is coming from someone so much younger than me. Guys like you are throwing away Generation Xβs hard strides toward marching toward the beat of oneβs own drum. Stop watching Fox News, stop reading that antiquated book of 2000 year-old dogmatic bullshit, and listen to more Nine Inch Nails. Reading some Bertrand Russell might help, too.
@Silent_Bob I'm guessing you have tattoos? Men who get tattoos are often insecure of thier own masculinity. For whatever reason in today's society, tattoos are seen as 'macho' and 'low inhibition'. A lot of men are obsessed with this image of the 'bad boy' because they think that's what all women want, so they tat themselves everywhere hoping women will find them attractive. It's pretty sad tbh.
I got no tattoos to be honest. Like seriously. And yea I get what u mean most people tattoo them selves like whatever crap. But there are people who do it to show something. Or a meaning behind that. Like whatever the design is showing. If u get me
I don't know why everyone see it as the really bad thing to do. Like there are worse. Having something to express on not really bad. And no need to get judged by that but oh hell that's our society
@LawrenceKen,
1. Yes. Invisible when I'm wearing normal business attire. I will not be mistaken for Nikki Sixx. If you were to spot me at, say, the gym, the hiking trail, or the club where I sing on Friday nights, then I still look more "art student" than "ex-con".
2. You are making a lot of generalized assumptions. But you are so misinformed that it's not even funny. It's safe to assume that you have NEVER set foot inside a Google office. You probably don't know what IT and software people look like nowadays... you probably think they still wear ties? (Welcome to the receiving end. Chupa dura, amigo!).
3. I'm a tough sell to women because dating a widower tends to be intimidating to a lot of them. Not that I've made any serious efforts, mind you, I would rather have nobody than be stuck with someone who is not on my wavelength. How much ink I have doesn't really have anything to do with this. "Andrew Eldritch meets Jackson Galaxy" is my personal style, I'm not selling myself to anyone. "To Thine Own Self Be True"
4. Going back to one of your earlier posts, a grown man shouldn't really care all that much whether or not his mother likes his girlfriend. I don't. I mean, sure it's a nice bonus, but the saying "Who's life is it anyway?" comes to mind.
A small tattoo tastefully done. not a problem, but full sleeves etc, not a fan just imagine what it will look like 20 - 30 years down the line, then add on the infection potential, its not worth the risk for the 'cool' factor.
It looks like shit, looks ghetto. I think the girl doesn't have enough brains to know she's permanently marring her body with ugly ink. Shows poor impulse control and probably a childish mindset.
Some women look really good with tattoos. I've seen plenty of thigh ones that are pretty as well.
I don't think there's anything wrong with someone having a tattoo. It doesn't necessarily lead to more risk-taking behaviors (there are a multitude of variables that decide that).
Also, don't pay attention to the uneducated on here. This site is rife with people like that. I am sure the majority of people are not as such.
Thank u.!
I don't mind a small one in a fairly out of the way place but having huge ones or having them all over your body is not very attractive!! I don't care WHAT you've got swinging between your legs!!
Don't listen to uneducated people, tattoos are fabulous honey <3
It depends on the art, not every tat is equally good.
I don't really care about tattoos but am not really attracted to face and neck tattoos
I agree with your opinion π
Great to hear! Also I would be to scared to bring them home to my Catholic mum π
Ohh that's a mess. I understand what you mean tho. I've met lots of girls and guys with extreme tattoos etc and they were the sweetest people I even met
Oh yeah of course I would be mates with them but I just don't find very extreme tattoos appealling. Admittedly am too much of a pussy to get one π
Hahaha I want to get one or two. Or more
Yeah am planning on getting the Jedi symbol on my arm soon just haven't had the chance
