No. its not. Primitive European cultures and tribes had braids and dreadlocks before they knew Africa existed
I’d consider it cultural appropriation, but you’re allowed to do whatever you want.
Why do you think so
Because if a black girl wears braids she might have a harder time finding a job because of them, but if you wear braids it’s considered trendy.
But it isn't my fault. I dont discriminate so why should I be discriminated against?
You’re not being discriminated against, you’re just being told you shouldn’t do something. A lot of people disagree with me, but some people might take offense to it. That’s life you know?
you're controversing yourself. Why does it matter that black people are discriminated against if it doesn't matter that i would be discriminated against in a similar manner, if we would say that this is cultural appropriation?
Also isn't culture meant to be shared? So much culture and inventions come from Europe, would that mean that Americans are constantly appropriating our culture?
There’s a difference. The difference is that you c an wear the braids and go about your life without having to face the discrimination that black people face.
You’re not going to face the same discrimination that black people face from wearing braids. That’s what I’m saying. People are going to look at you funny for wearing them, but you’re not going to lose job offers or be treated the same as a black person.
Black people are in every way equal to any other race. Please send studies as proof.

Not sure what country you live in, but in America racism still exists.
So those studies are of the whole USA? Because there are areas that are more racist than others.
Whites earn more since whites have been free for a linger period of time, thus making it not the fault of people living right now, more the fault of people who were slave owners. Obviously building up successful life for yourself and your children takes generations, at least where I live.
And in the end I'd like to say that this is like that only because USA is dominated by white race. Blacks are just as discriminating as all other races.
Most of the statistics take into account how many black people are living in the US. The numbers still shouldn’t be like that.
You seem to realize that white people have it easier than black people, but you act like it doesn’t matter since you’re not the one discriminating against them. That doesn’t matter. It’s just the fact that you do hold a privilege over these people and you aren’t going to face the same oppression that they face.
And you simply dismiss the fact that they discriminate too, because currently their current state is worse.

Not against me. Just like i haven't done anythjng against black people.
But there are awfully many rape cases in my country right now, of which most of them are caused by black people.
There are also horrible news about black families who have got into arguments.
Once a woman threw pot of boiling water at her husband when they got into argument. There was a case where a black person tried to scratch out white person's eyes, of course failed, but it was still attempted.
Maybe in America thkngs are different, but in my country, we are forced to adapt to black people's life style. We are forced to pay extra money to house them. And they still act ungrateful and attack us. Then they complain about racism.
Also braids are a case of racism dont you think? Black people discriminate against white people who wear the braids, although many of those people are respectful towards their culture.
