There are just cycles in the fashion/model world - It usually swings between the curvy hourglass look and the skinny look - Cindy just happened to be around in the 80s when curves were in - I think it is just a natural cycle as just after the curvy 80s it went into the "Heroine Chic" very thin era of Kate Moss - The unusual thing for me is that in the 1980s everyone would know top 5 supermodels but today I would be hard put to name any of the top 5
Because people these days are retarded and have a very warped and skewed view of beauty where looking like you just walked out of a concentration camp is the new look that's idolized and in fashion, while anything more than that (weight-wise) is seen as grossly and abnormally overweight and disgusting.
Side note: Plus-size models and ones like Cindy Crawford are the only models I consider sexy.

Back in the 90s her body was ideal. It’s sad how society has changed.
