Tans in general do not make you look better. Pale skin is not unattractive. I'm not specifically attracted to pale skin or anything. But to think that it's somehow shameful is totally ridiculous.

Fake tans are less safe than real tans. Don't care if you're using spray tan, tanning booth or what. You're risking skin cancer even worse than being under the sun. The chemicals in spray tans aren't good for you. The levels of UV in a tanning booth is higher than the sun (because you are trying to get a tan quickly). All this for... nothing. Literally for nothing.

It's far more attractive for you to just be proud of your natural skin. If you want to go to the beach because you like being on the beach and you like swimming in the ocean, then go. You'll get a tan. But to get a tan just because you feel your skin is too pale, that shows a lack of confidence and is unattractive. And worse if you feel you need a fake tan to make up for it.

I am sure there is expensive products or treatments that look natural but mostly to me it looks FAKE, I suppose hence the name - I am a huge believer in the natural look in most things so no, not for me.

A tan makes you look younger and healthier.

Especially if your doing spray. Natural tanning all the time just makes you look old and leathery.

there's even been polls where they put a pale version of a person next to a tan, all men were naturally drawn to the tanner picture

I think a light fake tan looks good but heavy ones like in those photos look too fake and weird. It’s not a natural skin color.

An artificial tan, if properly applied, can look rather natural. The problem is that most "tanning salons" don't want to spend the time to do it right. A couple of sprays with orangy-tanner and out your go.. I personally like to see a pleasing tan, with no tan lines, or you will look like the attached pic. Not so cool.

If it boils down to either have a fake tan or a burn I would rather my girl have a fake tan than a burned body, but if she decided on not having a fake tan I would volunteer to put Aloe Vera on her where she was burned after she had taken a cool shower.

I have always laughed at it, never have I ever found it appealing. Furthermore, it shows laziness to me, however I’ve never had an issue tanning.

Personally I'm not a fan. If you can get a tan naturally than you should go with that and if you can't get one naturally you're simply out of luck but you still look perfectly fine.

Fake tan = fake person. But lots of fake people don't necessarily have a fake tan, so you need more filters than just this.
