Guys, what's your opinion on girls fake tanning?

Fake and bake anyone? guys what do you think of girls who use tanning beds? or who get spray tans?

my personal opinion? (sorry girls) but I think its a bit trashy and kind of I don't know.. preppy? why not just go lay in the sun? or embrace your NATURAL skins beauty?

For a sexy and natural and healthy skin color. Apply sunscreen every day, (I'm not a spammer, if you want to know my brand I'll tell you but I don't intend to ruin the reputation of a product I love.) and get about 15-20 minutes of sun. Truth be told, it lets your skin recover from the sun, provide essential nutrients to itself and your body because there's more wavelengths in natural sun than just UVA and UVB tanning beds. Tanning beds cause cancer. And your skin looks healthier and sexier if you slow tan. Tan for life and living, not once and for all. My motto for my life is: "Use it or lose it, if you burn you lose it because you took a shortcut."

I agree that natural sun is the best way to tan. I live in Sweden and in the winter you see girls get on the tram with the fake tans and you can tell as they are orange :P

Due to not much sun in winter solariums are popular but I have only tried once but I don't like them. The attraction would be if you wanted an all over tan and didn't live anywhere that you could tan topless/ nude. Here in Europe there are places where topless/ nude is possible so its OK to tan outdoors.

My boyfriend doesn't like tanning. He says whatever color you get naturally from the sun in the summer (with out over exposure and while putting on sun screen) is pretty enough. And in the winter paler is sexy, that's natural and it looks really good. He says fake tans are always obvious and always disgusting and, later on in life your skin is going to be sickening and something that looks trashy and fake any way is, in no way, worth it.

I know this was an old comment from you. But I am sort of trying to figure out whats the best way to tan with sunscreen when sunscreen is suppose to block it. Not sure what to get and how long to go out. I am trying to figure it out so I can try to still do it naturally (but safely) instead of just going straight to self tanner (fake).

Well most of the time I DO leave my skin natural, but recently I bought some self tanner and used it. I think it's fine as long as it still looks relatively natural. And I don't just go lay our in the sun cause my skin burns instead of tanning and also I don't want skin cancer.

Girl if you haven't noticed the guys probably don't travel much abd have a tan so why would they find it attractive if you do

I like a girl who has a natural tan, or just lets her skin do her own thing like guys do. Seriously, fake tans are so unattractive. Its refreshing to see a really cute girl who's actually sort of white. Please don't fake tan or tan all the time on purpose. It's a turn off.

i have seen a lot of older women that tanned a lot. their skin looks like leather...i wonder if when they die people make handbags and shoes out of them?

tanning beds to me is a Women Thing and some girls can't get out in the sun if they have a skin disease, but I LIKE Girls who aren't afraid to get out and lay out in the sun~! its a bonus for us guys! ;)

In my opinion, I find it extremely unattractive. I prefer girls that have a very light and pale color. Therefore, any kind of tan is a turn off. For me, at least.

ive always wondered...whats the difference between tannin in a salon or getting a tan from the sun? don't you get the same tan look...

tanning in a salon is faster. but gives you an orange tint and is worse for you.

I use a tanning bed 2 a week. It's great if you have psoriasis or are stuck indoors all the time. Spray on tans are really lame though. It's like wanting to look thin without working out/eating right.

It also doesn't give you cancer. I don't tan at all but if I had to recommend it I'd say spray because the sun and beds are terrible for you.
