Wearing makeup seems a bit fake, maybe issues with self esteem.
It’s not always issues with self esteem. Many confident people wear makeup and still feel comfortable when they’re not wearing makeup. Makeup is just a fun accessory. Its fun and artistic. Many people wear accessories to look nice, not because they feel insecure without it, its just fun to wear and makes them feel cute. It’s a way to look good even when you know you already do. It’s no different than any other accessory.
It’s just like doing your hair or nails. Doing your hair doesn’t make you insecure about your hair. Doing your nails doesn’t make you insecure about your nails.
I know that example sounds silly but that’s shows the point

Art is for whatever you want it to be. If someone says they’re not insecure and can clearly, proudly show their natural face with no hesitate than clearly they’re not insecure. There’s girls on social media that talk about it and show their natural face, and it’s pretty clear that they’re confident. How does that make them a hoe? 🤦🏻♀️ like omg her lips aren’t naturally purple, her eyelashes are not naturally that long, she doesn’t naturally have a glowing highlight on her nose, inner corner, and cheekbones, I cannot fuck with her 😩 not all girls who wear makeup are insecure, you know nothing about makeup so you have no right to have an opinion. What if she wears natural makeup, do you still think she’s insecure?
It’s an accessory. Some girls like to wear jewelry, some girls like to do their hair, some girls like to do their nails, some girls like to wear makeup.
If I wore makeup because I was “insecure” then I wouldn’t be so obsessed with highlighter (the glow on a girl’s nose, inner corners and cheekbones)
Makeup is stunning and people enjoy it. I know a lot of guys that don’t mind it and think it’s cool. So if others enjoy it, why shame it?

I also have some female friends that aren’t into makeup themselves but don’t have anything against it and think it’s cool. They compliment my makeup and like it when I do theirs for an occasion.
@lynn20012019 Maybe light makeup for special formal occasions, but if you put heavy makeup for "feeling artistic", not a fan. Jewelry and nails are another things. Plus, too playful on the nails is not pretty to me either.

Ordinary, I rarely wear make up. It's usually very minimal if I do wear make up.

Also i think that make up only feeds anxiety. I m pretty much anti anything that promotes a fake plastic mainstream way of looking or way to be.
