It depends on the girl and their face shape, and also the type of bangs. Some look great, others not so much.

On myself, I'm not a big fan. I've had them twice in my life, once as a kid and once because I was talked into it as a teenager, but they weren't very flattering on me since I have a smaller forehead in the first place.

I think it really depends on the type of bang and type of face shape! But I think longer bangs work pretty well with someone that has a larger forehead. More forehead = more bangs to work with

about 5% of women can pull off no bangs, they're also good if you have a large forhead or a lot of forehead acne. just make sure you wash your hair every day if you intend to have your hair sitting on your face all day
