Why is it ok for woman to wear mens clothes but it's not for a guy to wear tights / pantyhose?

You can wear what you want. But you can't expect everyone will like the look. This is it.
I am wearing tight now opaque stockings made for guys. But i wear them in winter under trousers since they are comfy and warm. Not to show up.

Live your own life. Be the change you want to see in the world. It wasn't that long ago that it was taboo for women to wear trousers. If more men do the same thing with traditionally female clothing then a cultural shift might happen.

Women can wear men’s clothes because women have been seen as being treated unequal to men. To bridge the gap society allowed women to dress like men.

Women began to wear pantyhose and tights about 65 years ago. They were paired with skirts and dresses. Women can still choose to wear them if they want. Men can’t wear them because we live in a time period where we dress women in tights. We associate pantyhose and tights with women. They can wear them with dresses or other fashion.

Men are generally discouraged from dressing like women. Society prefers men observe regular dressing habits. Women prefer being the ones to wear pantyhose or tights when appropriate, with men sticking to pants.

It’s so true, girls can wear boxers anytime and it’s no issue. A guy wears leggings or a cute thong and it’s extremely unacceptable.
