Why is it okay for a woman to wear a man's clothes but a man can't wear women's clothing?

Because people have weaponized femininity both against men and women in the past and some still cling to it. "you hit like a girl" and all that kind of stuff is used in a negative way to tear both the individual down and the group they are referring to as well, just as another example. I honestly have no idea why people take such an issue with it. Just let people wear what they want to. Everything's just clothing if people stop being idiots about it.

I don't see the difference personally. But this is where toxic masculinity comes into play with the male image being this resolute and unwavering thing that men are ridiculed for not following.

Because it is much more acceptable for women to be masculine than it is for men to be feminine.

It's interesting to see so many women blaming this phenominon on "toxic masculinity" when women are the reason for it in the first place. Women will say it's ok for men to wear women's clothes because they know it's what they are supposed to say. It's the kind and accepting thing to do. But no woman would date a man who wears heels. Think about it.

Yes, sorry to be blunt but tomboys are accepted and normal, men in girly clothes looks unnatural and is s lot of times linked to sexual deviantsy
