I think it's a cyclic process. Let's say... 60 years ago there was a "10" then the wonderbra comes out, and a 9 can be a 10, and 10 is the new 11 if you can afford it. So on and so forth.

Since that time people haven't changed from being, well, people, but "enhancement" technology most certainly has, so that "10" from 60 years ago without modern make-up, a push-up bra, leaving out any plastic surgery, presenting herself today might be a 7 or 8, when in her grandmother's time she's causing hearts to go a-flutter.

Beauty is subjective, but after hours under the knife, months of recovery, a professional make-up team, wardrobe, and a photographer for that perfect look, I could see a great many beautiful women thinking they just aren't beautiful enough and going under the knife.

Honestly I don't think men are so much to blame there as we are horn dogs, and in reality a body like the one you have in the picture would be uncomfortable as hell to have sex with.

I think it's that cyclic pressure, and really, pressure from other women who do have that look and internally that keeps it going.

I think it's your own fault. I don't think men are as picky as women think. Sure there are guys who like big boobs, but there are just as many who like medium and even small boobs. Women seem to get more compliments and have more options than men do to the point that women seem more likely to complain about having too many men interested in them than they are to complain about having too few. Hell, a decent portion of men seem to get off pictures of feet so I just don't buy this narrative that men's standards are so sky high that it is driving women to insanity.

If a woman decides on plastic surgery, that is a choice "she" made. How is that a man's fault or men's expectations?
People can expect whatever,
but noone can force or should be blamed for what these women choose to do to their bodies. Which, yes people are going way too far, with plastic surgery, with just fake everything these days.
Be the real you. How do people ever expect someone to accept someone for themselves if themselves is
"all fake'. Accept/love yourselves, flaws and all and others will too.
I would never go to those extremes, but if I did, I wouldn't blame men and men's expectations.

OMG, she is disgusting! The problem is some women think they have to have these looks because they have no self esteem and no brains. They are just buying into an unrealistic expectation by a certain breed of men. Not all men expect their women to look like the pic unless they are just into that look for sex. But for marrying I don't think that is what they are looking for- a girl who is a relative of the Michelin Man. All pumped up like a Macy Day's Parade balloon.

It's not necessarily men's unrealistic expectations, but the simple fact that men will lean towards more exaggerated features and graphic content when they are exposed to it and we live in a world when men are literally surrounded by it in a way that is normal women who are neither graphic, nor exaggerated, nor fake, feel too boring for some guys. It's like a drug to men. This is why you see more men leaving their good loyal wives for someone with bigger tits and men expect us to be super vulgar, which we're not. Even the porn actresses are 'acting'. And because it is a fool proof way to draw men's attention, naturally more women craving it would choose that path of plastic surgery and Photoshop.

It's become a chain reaction. Men are getting more graphic content and as they get used to it they want more, and as more and more women are getting surgery and looking so alike, they are getting even more exaggerated to get more attention.

Some women, like the one in the photo, turn themselves into grotesque caricatures. They are like cartoons. I can't imagine what kind of man would be attracted to such a thing. But I think those women do it to themselves because, in their twisted minds, they "think" men will be more attracted to them and they "think" they will be more attractive than other women.

funnily enough it's mostly misguided opinions of what men look for which tbf the majority of guys would not want this... where as some women go the plastic surgery route cos of their own self opinions, or cos they want bigger breasts as their's aren't big enough to attract a good man/woman... and some go this route cos they are too afraid of asking those they are with...
and many of those who they are with would gladly tell them they look perfect anyway...
the issue is that a good partner often wants to support their gf's in what choices they feel are important to them
so it really isn't fair to lay the reasoning on one or the other...

I don't think it is all men's fault for women doing things to their bodies. it is my opinion that sometimes women feel inadequate, even though they're not, and go over board in augmenting parts of their bodies. Just like women who wear leggings and show every crevice of their body; men didn't ask them to wear those. On the other hand, I can see where a woman that is flat chested would want to increase her bust size; I get that. I also understand why a short and petite man would want to wear shoes with inserts to make him taller and want to build body mass so he feels more attractive. I also think that women and men alike sometimes try and look to please and be accepted among their own sex. I don't mean they're gay, but they want to fit in and have that look of their peers.

I think majority of women look fine just the way they are. If you have some sort of deformity then yes I think getting surgery is fine.

But getting surgery to such an extreme just because you want to morph your body into something else I think is dumb and a total waste of money.

They start comparing thereselves to all this unrealistic images and getting insecure and unhappy about their bodies.
