Yeah of course everything women do is mens fault it's not like you can be responsible for your own actions right?
The woman in that photo is not in the least bit attractive... i think you can thank persons like the Kardashian's for this type of warped thinking and body.
I dont think it's men's expectation but the societies expectation. To say just men is beyond stupid. Most celebrity women are women's role models and idols and they usually set the standards. So stop looking at them and be yourself.
This is women asking men for approval, attention and affection.
The need of approval, attention and affection to the point of surgery, permanent body change and however much it costs to do so.
Some do it to feel better bout themselves. Others do it to feel validation
I can only hope that photo isn't real, because it's grotesque. As for men's expectations of a woman's body, if any woman falls for that shit, she deserves whatever man she gets.
Some people have body dysmorphic disease where they feel the need to change their appearance. Almost as if the mind is unsatisfied.
I can’t imagine any woman would go through that kind of artificial body transformation if not for the opinions of men.

I think that the image conjured up in the minds of women is more extreme than many men are really willing and able to accept.

Some women will do anything to get attention or be loved which is why they do it. The unrealistic expectation comes from the media/magazines on what's hot. Porn is a large contributor as well.
To the question, yes it sometimes go too far. However, the problem does not come from men but from women. It's in their brains to always compete with other women to get men's attention. Men are not to blame for a women's insecurities.
I mean, I grew up in LA, and I used to see a lot of women with overly bleached hair, big implants, and high heels, but that trend seemed to have died down in like...2008? 2009?

I think it started out as men's expectations but with anything, it has become an obsession for some women. The expectations change from man to man but society is the real enemy.

I think it's because of what the media has portrayed as sexy and because what girls incorrectly assume is what guys find attractive.
It's yes to both of those questions - the former is a result of the latter, as well as the media over the past 20 years.
