What do you think of Rolex's?

I've handled a lot of them and would love one at some point as while time keeping is less accurate (the same for all mechanical watches) they are solidly built
My grail watch is a Patek Philippe 5146G... a Rolex is for when you want to be somebody but a holy trinity watch (Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin) is for when you are somebody

I'm not a fan of watches, nor of anything overpriced so... Nahh... I'd take it if someone was giving it to me for free, or if they were more normal priced.

I think they are mainly a status symbol to show off wealth, but I'm not really a watch person so I could be misjudging them.

Apparently they don't keep time well. Have heard this from different owners and Rolex says yea so what? K bye...
So for that reason, I'd be out

I won a Rolex in a previous job when I hit record sales. Wasn't impressived and sold it shortly after.
