I have zero interest in jewelry. I'm far from rich, but the last thing I want to do is advertise what money I do have. I'm not interested in anyone who would be attracted to my "status" based on something as shallow as what watch I was wearing.

One of my wealthy customers has a couple of nice watches - I've seen them - but he normally wears a Casio G-Shock. That's much more my own style.

Rolex are to watches what Moet is to champagne. It's what you buy if your only goal is to spend a lot in order to look flashy, but actually know zero about watches or champagne.

I can afford a Rolex, but Why? I see Rolex watches to be so 'overstated" that they look 'cheap' to me. I have several good watches, including a Movado, which is 'understated' and more tasteful in my view.

Yes I do. I used to have a gold Rolex with diamond face, silver, and gold Rolex I got robbed many years ago when I was out of town it’s gone at my house.
