Do emo/scene guys still exist?

Scene guys not really. There's still some around of course I'm sure. Pers I've never known a single cisgender male who was scene. Online or irl. And I'm on a lot of emo/scene servers/forums/sites exc... I guess that's pretty telling lol.

Emo guys yea def, they're easy to find. My boyfriend for ex is a classical emo pretty much and I met him irl. He has the hair and all minus the eyeliner. I've been friends with another one that I met irl too. And I've seen some outside before but not more than 20 times. Some of my online friends are emos, and the emo servers I'm on are packed with them.

They do. I know couple of them, and I know couple of them who used to be one of them. Those whom I know still have emo hairstyles and still listen to early 2000's to mid 2000's emo rock-pop.

Personally, I like some emo rock, but never had emo hair.

Also, it may be possible that more ex-emos will grow their hair back for MCR reunion soon.

Yeah they do where I live but not nearly as much as during the early 2000's I saw them a lot when going to school, I just referred to them as "colourful goths" lol

Anyways with My Chemical Romance coming back I'm expecting a surge in emo/scene kids again since MCR was one of the big bands along with Blood on the Dancefloor, Panic at the Disco, Fall Out Boy and Mindless Self Indulgence. There's loads more but I don't want to express my history of scene any more than that 😂😖

oh god…. the cringe… I've seen a 27 year old emo guy in public before. With the hair and all, dressed like a teen pretty much, looking all depressed. I prayed so hard that he didn't see me (cos I'm emo too), that would have been so embarassing if he came over to talk to me… I feel like past 19-20, or 22 if you're really pushing it, you shouldn't dress like that. It gets so cringy.

Nah, I was walking to the gas station to buy something with a friend. We were smoking a cigarette on the sidewalk, and then put them out while stepping into their lot. We then kept the butts and dropped them in a trashcan on the way inside. While we were walking up to the door he yelled "are you fucking kidding me?" And "fuck you!" At us, which we ignored. He then followed us inside and started yelling about how we were going to blow the place up with our cigarettes and got in my friends face. So I told him to chill tf out and he came at me as well. We like the gas station guy, so we didn't do anything besides tell him to fuck off.

The whole thing was weird, especially since the guy working at the gas station stands out from to smoke haha
He was prob around 6'1", looked late 30s-early 40s, white, dyed mid-length black hair which was straitened and cut to get that classic front bang covering one eye. He was wearing a black button-up shirt with breast pockets and epaulettes, with black skinny jeans, and grey vans. I didn't catch if his nails were painted

OH GOD. he's a fucking boomer, why is he dressing like a teen boy. I lost it when you said about the dyed hair, seriously. If you see him ever again take a pic or a vid or something, that shit is hilarious.
Me the dude I saw that was your age or so, he had his normal hair color but typical emo hair, a bit of eyeliner I think, painted nails, snakebites, a grey tight hoodie, normal jeans, and high top converse. He just looked like he was dressing up as a teenage boy literally. It was so uncomfortable. The funniest thing he was hunched over, his hands in his hoodie, while he looked so depressed and angsty. That was just too much. The worst thing was this girl noticed the guy and commented about him to her friend, then saw me and they were all ackward about. I think the guy caught me staring at him too LOL. Fortunetely by then I was in the train. The second oldest I ever saw was around 21-22 or so (I don't find it cringy or that weird at that age, it's borderline, but maybe you do I don't know. if you want a laugh lol), he had dyed flippy black hair covering his eye, black beanie, black skinny jeans so tight I don't know how he could sit down, black tight clothes, painted chipped nails and eyeliner. Eyebrow piercing, snakebites, earplugs. He had a huge ass guitar. It was pretty ackward cos the guy noticed me staring and winked and did a little sign cos I was emo too or something. Had he been two years older I would have been mortified. People were staring back and forth at us that was so weird.

I just wonder what it'll be like in another 30 years seeing 60+ yr old emo and scene people just out and about. It's just the natural progression tho. I see 1980s goth and punk people who are in their 50s now still going strong. Shit, when I was a punk kid in my teens, punks of all ages turned up to shows. You'd be hanging out chatting with an old school punk who was 40 or 50 as well as the young crowd.
And who knows what the new trends will be like in the future. Young people always come up with new and exciting fashions and social groups, and by the time I'm old I'm sure they'll make no sense to me 😂
