Well, why don’t you try it and post a pic of your style so I can make a better determination? It’s not something I would say I generally like, but maybe certain women can pull it off. It’s probably more reasonable and honest of me to make my judgement, positive or negative, after seeing it on a person rather than just make blanket statements.

Nothing new... I look back at me in 80 dollar gnko's and I cringe at how stupid I looked. Point me out if you want as a singular case... but bell bottoms and so on also happened before me... it's just rehashed fashion. Same shit just 10 to 20 years later.
Honestly I dress like an e-boy not a girl because its comfy and I like it, I like the color black and I always wear it but the e-girl thing needs to stop, seriously my mom would have a fit if I had more than my shoulders showing.
What even is the e for? Are they like trying to be cute gamers?

Speaking as a bona fide Punk, I am not much of a fan. The e-girl and e-boy styles are quite flashy, but they are about capturing the rebellious image of Punk culture (and the point of being Punk was an evolution of Grunge culture). But whole point of being punk is that you don't care, and you reject the status quo through your indifference. If you intentionally dress like you don't care, isn't just another form of caring?
I do like one thing about it. It's coming right from the people and the people decide for themselves what their story is going to be not some corrupt and degenerate main stream entertainment outlet. Hollywood will soon be a thing of the past and good riddance.
Styles originating on the internet in anime to reflect reality which now people imitate to reflect fiction of reality.
Sounds like good ol' humanity all right.Well what exactly is the eboy and egirl style?
Even with pics I still don't get it. The boy in your picture just looks like a normal teen. And the girl looks like she could be cosplaying. Or dressing up as a goth lolli except with normal clothes...i personally like the style! if you feel comfortable and confident in it, why not?
Thing is a lot of girls that are emo or an e-girl they're usually dramatic and attention-seeking, so I tend to stay away from them. They can look cute and nice, but that's really the reason why I stay away from them majority of the time.
What about a middle-aged man wearing it? Would you be cool with it? Picture your dad wearing it
Depends what you're in for. Styles are cool if people are having fun and respectful. But if it's to try and keep up with a trend you might find a lot of the images associated e-boy/e-girl idealised and hard to sustain or compete with.
Generally I think it looks pretty cool. It reminds me of Pokemon avatars. It reminds me of the movie Clueless. But overall it looks like Preppies are still setting trends on a dare.
The clothing shown above will surely make you look nice and cool, and if you are into this way of clothing and it makes you feel comfortable and confident, then go for it!
on the other hand, the first picture is good for one time events, such as parties and get-togethers, it is definitely won't work on your daily life as it will also give an unrealistic look. :)Just another fad. It will come and go, like all of them.
I feel like I'm too old for that. Reminds me of what scene kids used to do in the early 2000s except more watered down.
Nothing wrong with cos play. But everyday not really. And being blunt styles are supposed to have a unique look. There's nothing standout here
Tbh it's just emo for cool people. There are some elements that i like but they have been staples of goth fashion for years before.
You're too old for the style. It's for younger girls, not someone in their 20s.
Heh hey, you did better than I ever will, and my sister is in fashion! Good on you for doing so well!
It might get you some followers on whatever social media you obsess over; it would probably just get stares (not the good kind) out in public.
Oh shit, here we go. This is what's gonna happen with my generation, we're becoming more plastic that a Tupperware set
It looks like preppy and goth were mixed together. I don't care about it.
It's for weebs or teenagers not hardcore enough just to go goth.
