Is my belly button ring infected?

I got it a couple weeks ago, it does not hurt or anything but it looks weird. I clean it daily. I don't know if i need a longer bar, help :(

update: I did it myself and it scabs sometimes

It may just be scar tissue from haphazard installation give it the recommended amount of time for the piercing to stay open then remove the ring and let the tissue heal treating it once-daily with peroxide or alcohol if you are worried about infection you can get an over the counter antibiotic ointment since that is what the doctors likely to give you anyways just a more expensive version

Treat it regularly with hydrogen peroxide or isopropyl alcohol for a few days and you'll be fine. I don't think it's infected, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious.
