Does tucking in shirt look stupid?

My wife recently brought this to my attention. She said she don't like when I tuck my shirt in my pants.

For a man that's weird to hear. That's the time we feel extra good about ourselves. And in some settings, it's in plain wrong not do.

Is this common for all girls?

If it's just simple attire I do prefer seeing my husband's shirt outside of his trousers, jeans, shorts etc. whilst still retaining a smart casual look.
However, for more formal occasions/events then naturally I would expect him to have his shirt tucked inside his trousers or suit trousers etc.
Ultimately though it is always his choice how he wishes to present himself.

I personally think that tucking in a shirt gives a more neat look to the outfit. I don't think it looks stupid.

Honestly if you like it, go for it but I think tucked in shorts are dumb.
