If I had a daughter aged 18 and she wanted to wear that, I'd burn it.

If I had a teenage son and he brought his girlfriend home wearing it I'd freak out (and so would my wife)

I have no doubt that you are a delightful person. I'd freak out as a father because I know EXACTLY what an 18 year old boy would think seeing you in that.

If you want to wear it under a sweater as a gift for your SO then that's a different matter, but to go out in, even in the tropics, guys will assume things about you that I'm 100% certain aren't true.

I considered answering this anonymously, but I chose not to because I do respect you and I want you to be able to respond and know who you're talking to. You're a very beautiful young woman and you have a terrific figure, but leave something to the imagination!

I would say “depends”. I probably would feel it is not too revealing depending on who I was with and where I was going. Then again, that is me, a person who feels comfortable at a nude beach.

On a serious note, it depends where you want to go wearing this.

For example,
if you were a teacher and wanted to wear it in some school meeting or whatever, it is totally inappropriate.
But if you were going to a concert or some media convention, it is a very good-looking dress and not too revealing.

As far as I'm concerned, it's no more revealing than a bikini top or a lot of other kinds of tops. So I don't think it's TOO revealing.
