because those idiots think it's "gangsta" doing so, when in reality all it is and what it originated from is inmates indicating to other inmates that they are ready for entry

pretty much the same with the SWAG references, which originally was refering to a thieves loot, or a bag of supplies at the end of a stick, though later reinvented as a code for inmates to tell others that "Secretly We Are Gay" which make me laugh when you see all these idiots running around with their pants down below their boxers... thinking they are hard as feck... when in actual fact they have absolutely no idea what the act stands for

Kind of a Joke, really! I know a guy that just got released from Federal Prison, being acquitted, after being wrongfully convicted!!
He said that, in prison, the 'available bitches' would wear their pants down, showing boxers and underwear, advertising their 'availability' to be someone's bitch!

They want the girls to see their boxers and start thinking about the rest? Maybe? I don't know... my boyfriend usually just does when he has no belt on and they slide down. At some point he pulls them back and then they slide again. Then he pulls them up again its a continuous cycle lol. But the guys who do it intentionally I think it's a thing to show their boxers and maybe because it signals a sort of rebellion or something I mean to some guys it looks pretty normal

As I understand it started out as a trend in prisons as a means of expressing their willingness to receive anal sex. Then when inmates got out and returned to whatever gangs they were part of the trend expanded to a more common style.

It comes from prison, Prisoners were not permitted belts so they had no choice but to sag. Weather this part is true or false i do not know, but its rumored that sagging also has something to do with sexual availability in prison.
