Does waxing make you smoother than shaving does?

I’ve heard women say that but I have never gotten a wax ever and I’m still pretty smooth, from my private down to my legs and armpits lol.

There’s no difference in smoothness, though you’ll grow back faster with a shave, as the whole hair isn’t removed like it is with waxing.

Technically, yes, it does.
Wax will remove the whole hair, including the follicle.
Shaving just cuts the shaft of the hair - the follicle remains.
