I personally cannot stand tattoos! Especially on women/girls! I know how very wrong it is to judge someone just based on appearance, but whenever I see a woman with a tattoo, I immediately think “well, she’s easy”! I know it’s wrong, and I hate myself for doing it, but I’m only 13 and I AM trying! But It’s the same thing with men and face/neck tattoos, I immediately think, “well, that guy’s defs killed somebody” I wish I didn’t, I wish I was a better person, but there is something about tattoos that just screams “bad life decisions“! Again, I know I’m young, and I know I’m a work in progress, and I wish I was a better person, but at this point in my life... it’s a NO for me!

Not a single tattoo on me and no intention of getting one ever, thats just me..
All my Uncles, cousins covered in em, even own a Harley and not a single bit of ink anywhere..
Zero issues over tatts and from somewhere I heard that tattooed people think that people with no tattoos are judging those with them as bad people or scum of society.
I sure as hell dont think badly of these walking artworks Its your body, not mine my opinion is irrelevant..
And something about a tall slim girl/woman with one full arm (sleeve?) and I go weak at the knees.. lol

depends on the kind of tattoo you do, most are just random useless drawings that everybody also do, or somebody's name written, i have some tattoos and to me it is all about marking YOUR personality in your skin, it has to be something unique, that represents who you are, not just a random drawing that looks "beautiful", nor other peoples names on your body, the body is yours not theirs...

I think some are and some are not. I think placement is super important, and I like minimalist tattoos, but I dated a guy fully tatted. I liked him as a person. However, I am not someone who loves tattoos generally speaking. However, I respect the artist. Being a tattoo artist is not easy at all!

If a tattoo degrades your looks it's not good. I've seen many cases where a woman would have been stunning without tats but made herself look meh with huge tats in bad places (neck, chest, face, shoulder). Getting tats is often addictive like plastic surgery too.

They can be like damage to a car. If you see someone driving a car with lots of damage you guess that they're a bad driver. People make guesses about you based on how you treat your body.

Does it matter if t ruins the beauty of a woman if tattoos are grossly overdone? Would what anyone says matter to them? It is their decision and what they do they have to live with. I don't think a few small ones would be a problem, but some go way overboard with them.

As someone being in graphic arts for 55 years, I can certainly appreciate the artistry and the techniques involved in creating the imagery.
But for everyday "wear" particularly in business settings, they should be minimized. Maybe a couple- strategically placed so only intimate friends can see them- would be an effective compromise?

I like tattoo's. I have tattoos. But yes so many ugly, meaningless, trashy tattoos. I have a limit, I do not want too much either. But getting a tattoo just cause it looks nice at the time is so bad. Have some meaning behind it, it will be on you forever. Especially that many people copy each other too.

Ruin the skin? I don't think so.

I have a few myself and find some girls with them to be really sexy. Of course it depends on the ink and placement along with if she pulls off that look.
If someone wants a tattoo they should get it as long as it isn't outright offense.

They are either tacky as hell or and incredibly expensive piece of art.

Their is no in between.

The only exception being religious /cultural tattoos such as the thai sak yant or those of Polynesian peoples for example.
