Okay, why does it matter what colour skin he turns into? If any of us have a problem with the choice of skin a character is, I think we should look inside ourselves to see if we’re being racist. Who cares what skin colour a character is and what skin colour a voice actor is playing a cartoon character. Geez, it’s racist that people are discriminating non-black voice actors from playing coloured characters. Can’t we all just appreciate characters for who they are? A lot of movies and shows are pushing diversity these days so I don’t get why people are complaining about a character not being coloured. Not all of them have to be coloured to be diverse.
It’s amazing how we can be offended at almost anything if we look hard enough.
I guess it’s a bit like the baddies in westerns always wearing Black hats and the Good guys White hats, obviously racism is an under play. I was looking at a predestination road crossing the other day and noticed it started and ended on white and most of the cars where going over the black lines, blatantly the local road teams being racists.
however you also get the opposite in some where people use sympathetic overtures to unconsciously say things.
For example. In gay gyms etc, the term Flexing on you, is a short term to having the hots for a guy and you being the top.
Year 2021 and I see a black guy is getting offended over 2007 producted ''Shrek'' movie.
Here is something for you bruv. ( requires to verify your age lmao )
It’s not Shrek’s fault that your mind is wired to associate large facial features with black people lol, that’s just silly. He’s an ogre and is going to have large features that fit his large head and other large body parts. Duh. It’s also not Shrek’s fault that you associate small features as being “European and pretty”. As if there’s no blacks on this earth with small noses and lips and white people with large features.
How do you explain how he drinks the magic potion then becomes good looking since he’s a white guy?
Why couldn’t he have became a black guy instead?
Well, Michael Myers is a white man, so it would obviously be offensive for the character he’s voicing to be black. Also, why are you associating white with good looking? Shrek is a green ogre lol and if he did turn black you’d only be offended and feel like they exaggerated his features as an ogre. That’s why you shouldn’t be associating him with any race, because he is meant to be a monster. His human form would’ve mirrored whatever actor voiced him.

Lol stop being paranoid
Shrek is a proud green guy
Handsome Shrek's nose resembles a prototypical black nose more than a white one, and his eyes could fall into either category. What are you talking about, my friend?
No because he was not human he was a ogra lol u really are pulling at straws thinking he looked black
