Why are British so bad at fashion?

I see British people wear the same thing to work or school everyday, dressing like beggars etc. People go to doctors, restaurants, school dirty, in joggers, etc. There is no place for fashion.

Their fashion designers are also are crap as fuck, except Burberry and Mulberry.

Me, I wear the exact same thing day in, day out (I basically went full Zuckerberg realised how great it was and just stuck with it) but I pair that with a load of jewellery
Then you get my suited look a bright blue two-piece, vibrant ties, fancy shirts and of course more jewellery

It's a luxury brand, British in origin but all but non-existent here due to that portion of it's past... I once bought one of their watches for a few pounds and ended up giving it away because even my bargain basement pawnbroker didn't want to touch it

They still have good sales in Britain, they have a store on bond Street in London, so that information about them being non existing must be old

They have counters in every big shopping center if they were still seriously active, 20 stores clustered in the biggest cities is a brand struggling to hold itself above water

For example, Patek Philippe have almost twice as many UK locations as Burberry

Chanel have counters in department stores in every middle class town round here... only flagships are London only like the suit makers of Jermyn street, most of those Burberry stores are in tourist hotspots where the bulk of sales will be bought here because they are cheaper and brought back to China most notibly, the same happened with Mulberry but then they opened a store in China to configure to the market demand

You won't find a chanel butique anywhere else, but in London, same with Burberry.

Local middle class town has 2 goods counters for Chanel and another 3 perfume only counters

I went last spring, and I saw a lot of women especially wearing parkas, which I didn't expect since the UK isn't that cold. My friend there had a Canada goose, black parka with a fur hood and it honestly looked really nice!
