Probably the opposite to be honest. So many fat girls think they are hot. So many girls with caked up makeup think they are hot. So many girls in general think they are hot. Id say if you average girls self rated opinions of themselves you would get an 8 lmfao because 5 is the actual average for the scale... so women are giving themselves a whole 3 extra points. Smdh.

Men i think are opposite. I mean i pull lots of girls hardly even trying most of the time so i know im good looking but i can't imagine rating myself more than a 7 but i get so many girls i feel like its a 9 treatment so i usually just say im an 8. I think guys who are a 5 or 6 who dont get much action are rating themselves a 2 based off not getting girls instead of a true objective view.

Not accurate. I think every girl doubts themselves and have very low self esteem because of the beauty standards for women. You might assume that they think that they are hot, but in reality most are insecure. We are our worst critics. Girls who cake themselves up with makeup usually has A LOT of insecurities.

@Fabrilia from a mans perspective, even me who has always had hot girl friends, i meet chunky caked up girls who tell me im ugly asf and not good enough to date. Wtf? I mean idc because that is gross a girl would even have that attitude if i was ugly so i just say dodged a bullet and date someone hotter anyway. But i think guys can attest to this. Lots of girls out there are like that.

@Fabrilia usually if a girl acts like she is hotter than she is i just tell her something like "damn i thought ugly girls had good personality but i guess not" or some shit like that but usually more tied to specifics and see if it pops their big balloon head. Sometimes yeah but often they just get pissy and then i ignore them.

No. If anything, most people over estimate their attractiveness to the opposite sex, but underestimate how tolerant the opposite sex is of flaws.

You might be a 4 out of 10. You might be think you're an 8. You might think most women will never date a 4. But there's a few girls who wouldn't care that you're a 4, so long as you're well off, passionate about something, funny and have drive and ambition.

People have a habit of finding imperfections in themselves while doing the opposite to others but what I found is if I’m feeling a certain way it will make me feel good about myself or I’ll find something I don’t like about myself I’m sure it’s the same with everyone to some degree, it’s all about how you feel that day

quite the opposite, some researchers believe that people have a way to convince themselves that they are better looking to get out of bed and continue living and when they look at the mirror they always try to find the better side/spots on their faces to gain confidence, ego is important to keep people going.

No, I don't believe so. I think a good 80% of the population are between a 4 and a 6 (unattractive). Only like 5% of people can be called conventionally "attractive looking," if even that high.
