Not really , name brands mean shit to me , if I like the clothes that’s all that matters , It’s sad Kids in school particularly need name brand clothes so they don’t get bullied or made
Fun of which is sad but that’s how this fucked up world is considering name brands really mean nothing , I remember buying Champion sweatshirts for like 10 bucks , then all of a sudden they got popular and jacked the prices up , I laughed cuz of how cheap I got them for when they weren’t that popular , so goes to show name brands mean nothing

I buy high quality clothes at thrift stores and sometimes that includes a name brand. I usually buy Levis and Wrangler jeans. Shirts as long as they are 100% cotton and made in the USA I don't usually care though most of the time those end up being a name brand of some sort.

I always choose quality over quantity even if that means spending a bit more and having a decent piece of clothing with good fabric that will last me longer than a fast fashion piece of clothing. But I avoid big logos I think that's too much of a show off for me.

I lean towards brands as I have a better idea how they will actually fit me. A top from brand X in one style should fit me in a different style. Also, I tend to buy timeless styles, so I want something that will last for a while.

Whatever is the comfiest brand at a reasonable price is what I pick, I have no fave brand, none of them can stick to a comfy style long enough for me to favor one over another.
I am the type to buy a super cheap bag of sweats even if i had a billion dollars sitting in my account.
Now at a comicon is the exception, I would custom maje expensive stuff for that.

It's about comfort and what's visually appealing. The brand for me just represents an expectation. I can expect a certain quality of material or a certain fit from a specific brand.

I’m glad most people picked B because it’s not good to be extravagant. Of course a lot of times name brand clothing is good quality but not all the time. Some idiots will pay 10 times the price for a certain brand when they could but the same thing that has a different name for less the price.
an example of an idiot like that is one who buys a benz or bmw over an acura. Acura is way better quality for way cheaper but the idiot buys the benz or bmw because the idiot thinks it’s better cause it’s expensive and wants to look “rich” out of arrogance because the idiot is an extravagant person.

A brand is only a good way to spend extra money without a reason behind it if not to appear "in".
Some brands are not obnoxious and unironically, those are the ones who make good, resistent stuff that will last you a lifetime. Brands who slap their logo everywhere are not for me, nor really worth the expense if you ask me.

I prefer totally plain, no logos.

For me and my style, I think it goes better more things.

If I wear a logo, I'd rather it be big, so it's like a printed top, not just one of those random small prints.

That being said, I understand that style is subjective, so people can wear what they want.

Cut and fabric quality is what it comes down to (found some fabulous t shirts recently at 2 euros a piece at a wholesaler that shopped if you order 10!)

The first shirt is more your size, knowing how to combine clothes is a lot more important than the cost or the logo.
I live in Thailand girls here go crazy for American brand names while I pay high quality local Thai made clothes. For 10% of the cost.
End of the month they’re always broke.

if my knowledge of marketing is correct, then branded clothes are not necessarily better than just normal clothes. There is a huge value associated with the brand itself. So, i will go for the good quality cloths and ditch the brand

With shoes, I only buy name brands because they are the only ones these days that is made to last long and made with quality materials 🤷‍♀️

no i don't. for me clothes are functional. "quality" and "brand" does not correlate in most cases and besides: i'm not paid for the advertising i do by having a big brand sign on my clothes, so i would prefer not to have the brand visible.
