I think the style of the modern woman should be whatever she damn well pleases. It's the modern world and they can't be called modern women if they can't choose to look however they want. In my opinion, the modern era is about choice, independence and living your own best life as you see fit. So yeah, it's her choice and it shouldn't be determined by other people, or by silly societal pressures/expectations.

Personally, I feel that you should wear what ever you feel comfortable in ; and you feel expresses who you are inside. Being in style with every other women wearing the same type of similar outfit, takes away from who you are as a person.
