With long hair, I prefer big, wavy curls. But other kinds of curly hair look amazing with the right hair style.
Long hair looks better the straighter it is in relation to length. In other words, really long hair looks best when the hair is straight. Long, thick, curly hair just looks like too much hair to me. Although, I'm not into super long hair anyway.
My cutest girlfriend had blond, bouncy-curly/wavy hair that went past her neck in back. It was adorable.
My wife has very curly, red hair and keeps it pretty short, about shoulder length. It's adorable, too.
Whatever. It's more important that the "curls fit the girls". Some gals' faces just do not call for curls, while others would look doofy without the curls.
I like straight hair, but wavy is also great. Don't know where you got the 'most guys like' part from. The first one. Actually, before I tried growing long hair I didn't realise I had wavy hair because it was always short, so if I get a daughter she might have that as well.
Your missing natural curled versions, all of these girls are using tools to get their hair like that. Naturally curly > other curly > flat hair.
