185 cm is taller than most guys and definitely most girls but not so tall that you look lanky and weird.

Greatly depends on the actual average height in your own area.

if the average height is say 5’4, you will appear a lanky fuck, if it’s 5’10, then it’s okay.

however there is a lot of other stuff required than simply just being tall.

As a tall person you stand out more, therefore you need to look better than everyone else, clothes etc,

That's a very specific and weird question. Perfect height for what? Reaching things from high shelves? Dusting ceilings for cobwebs? Being an easy target in paintball?

I consider 5'10 or 5'11 to be the "ideal" for my guy but if he's shorter/taller I don't mind it.
