I’m 6’5 196cm, so I believe I’m qualified to answer this.


Taking basketball players and strong men competitors, 193cm is tall and at the beginning of unusual tall.


As for societal perceptions, I’ll say it’s mostly positive. You have the peace of.….. people who will treat you harshly just because of how you make them feel (you’ll ignite their insecurities and the ugly part of their personality).


For the advantages and disadvantages, I’ll take clothing as an example.
Chances are that you won't find what you are looking for in one store, multiple stores are a must. You’ll have to try on everything to see how close a fit it is, with a high probability that you’ll have to visit a tailor after you buy it. Basically, you are forced to be a woman's best shopping friend 😅. But the look you get with tailored clothes make it worthwhile. The way I see it, you a forced to follow some high standards. This can be very costly.


As another question on this forum pointed out, dating can be very limited and like hell. Those people I mentioned above can take a toll on you, and make things hard on you.


Professionally you have some advantages in a few sports and it is a disadvantage in others. Like bodybuilding. There are some psychological advantages to body language. You can google this for more info.


There should be a “Tall Community”. With dating apps, stores of all kinds. 😂

I recently was at party and this dude came standing next to me and it shocked me for real. I'm exactly 1.93m ( what are the odds haha ) but being that tall isn't unusual but you also don't come across many guys that are much taller then that.
But this dude was so tall that I had to look up to look him in the eyes. That was very weird. I asked him how tall he was and he said he was 2.23m ( not sure how much ft that is) but damn this dude was huge

For the record.. I live in the Netherlands and guys are pretty tall on average but still very rarely any taller then 1.95m. The average is between 1.80m/1.85m

It depends on the height of the person who voices an opinion. I'm 5.2, so believe me 6.4 is exceptionally tall for me :D

Yeah it is.. Especially since the worldwide average for a man is around 5'7"... In some places with selective populations it's tall, but nothing unusual, but for most of the world it's unusually tall..

I don't think so. But everything is relative. They say like only 15% of guys are over 6 feet tall. That would suggest that taller is rare. But I see a guy who's 6'5" every day in the mirror. So again, everything is relative. 😂
