+1 yThat he is a transvestite. The "breaking stereotypes" is utterly meaningless because by the very "act of breaking them" shows they where never mandated to begin with. We gravitate to what we gravitate to, and any act to go against that while trying to have people notice is an attempt at attention or its due to a psychological trauma that has imprinted the behavior upon you (generally you don't gravitate to opposite sex things unless their is some kind of psychological connection to it or you have brain structures more similar to that gender then your own).
But what does it mean in the grand scheme of things? Fuck all. It doesn't matter, it never mattered, and trying to make it a thing shows that its just about getting attention and societal approval and people like that have existed for all of history. I do what I want and I have not had to demand people recognize my behavior as acceptable to do it (because I don't give a fuck what society thinks), so as far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter (also he is late to the party as we have crossdressers dating back to roman times.).20 Reply

+1 yI completely support it!! I've been wearing skirts and pantyhose for decades!! Been shattering lots of stereotypes along the way and even had people DEMAND that I wear it!! I also had guys tell me they we were wearing their skirt to honor me!! I've seen a number of other guys wear skirts and it had nothing to do with me wearing one!
Men have been wearing skirts throughout history! Ben Hur, Caligula, etc.. They, actually, ARE better for us!! Testicles make more sperm when they are AWAY from the heat of your body and skirts allow them to do their job better!!
It's MUCH more freeing and MUCH more comfy!!! Wear a short flippy skirt on a breezy day and see how great it feels!!11 Reply- +1 y
I could never wear heels, though. I can't even find men's shoes in 16EEE!!! Besides, I'm tall enough, as it is!
Why is it okay for women to dress like men but not the other way around?

Well I can't see any problems with this as I don't really think that there should be a set of rules saying that guys and girls should stay with this and shouldn't wear this and should wear that to me as long as it's not hurting anyone i don't think it matters clothing is just fabric in the end it's not gender specific

+1 yWhat stereotype are they breaking? We as society are hurting ourself by thinking men should not act like men. If that's case why do so many boys in houses with no dad grow up and go to jail or skewed views of masculinity. I live single moms to death don't get me wrong but a man needs to teach his son about manhood same with woman to her daughter about being lady.

+1 yWho cares, my high school had a "cross-dress" day as part of our spirit week. I am Straight AF and I rocked it. Nobody should care what a person wears, a skirt on a straight man is basically a kilt and kilts were worn by men marching off to war for hundreds of years.
10 ReplyI prefer girls who wear guy clothes. Goodies and regular shoes. I get the point he's trying to make but when I see a girl wearing what he has on I don't think "wow she is pretty/hot" I think "I hope you're wearing that bc you like that not bc you're impressing someone, bc you ain't impressing me"

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI mean gay men already break traditional gender roles considering that they literally date men, so it's not really surprising if they wear women's clothes. I don't really care, their life doesn't affect me.

- +1 y
Yep basically. I don't think it's bad to have a set look for masculine and feminine, after all clothes are styled to look a certain way on purpose. but men and women shouldn't be shamed for preferring the other style that's just stupid
- +1 y
Nobody seems to mind if a guy wears a kilt! What's the difference? It's still a skirt!!
- +1 y
@FunkyMonkee I mean there's a difference in style that makes it more masculine but yeah it's basically the same thing in function. Not big enough a difference to disallow either sex from wearing the "wrong" one.
- +1 y
Girls wear kilts, too! Does that make them drag kings?
- +1 y
@FunkyMonkee exactly. Cause no it doesn't.

24 Reply- +1 y
In my view looking at history historically men were the first to wear heels and makeup and skirts before women started to wear them so to me clothing is just fabric and plastics and leather I don't think it has to gender specific but to me it's the freedom to choose to wear whatever they want especially if it's a clown suit
- +1 y
Retarded in the same way that girls wearing pants, suits and ties is retarded?
It should be acceptable as normal.
