Bikinis are nothing more than societally-sanctioned female lingerie AS 'outer'-ware.
Its ALL a matter of psychological perception of socially-endorsed vs. 'verboden' intimate visual and tactile sensory stimulation.

Consider the allegation of 'up-skirting', what will the interloper ACTUALLY see?
A bikini bottom thong? Did they TOUCH you? ... NO.
They saw what WAS visible from a particular UNCOMMON angle.

If YOU chose NOT to 'flash' from a POSSIBLE angle, you COULD HAVE chosen trousers...
SOCIETY led YOU to believe they'd prohibit viewing your body FROM such an angle.
What 'harm' was actually done TO you? Someone viewed YOUR bikini-ed bottom regardless
of YOUR permission, transgressing YOUR expectations?
You're incensed and blushing; 'why'?

See, ... its ALL a pragmatic matter of behaviors held to 'customary' behaviors.
The culture via religiously-borne prudery IMPOSES acceptable 'custom'
WITHOUT EVER asking YOUR willing acquiescence;
DEMANDING your adherence to BE a 'good' person.
Are you REALLY given a choice?

When was the last time... or have you EVER chosen...
to 'go commando' being nude UNDER that skirt or dress?

To 'naughtily' savor the sensations of cool breeze upon your genitals UP that skirt?
To inwardly 'savor' your 'rebellion' against 'custom'... sassily SMIRKING 'inside'.

The 'fantasy potential' of some 'horrible cad' coming upon you and seizes 'opportunity'

Both.

But depending on the woman, some may say one flatters a figure on one more than another in life.

I find both great. I really feel so torn. Maybe the one piece by a slim margin if "a woman" prefers showcasing her waist more than her chest thank the good Lord above for his blessings of her features 😋😋🙏

For the beach, I prefer a bikini and, for the pool, I prefer a swimsuit (unless there's sun and I need tanning, then a bikini)

I grew up with a mom who loves tanning and usually would be topless on the beach to tan. I was shy about my body (still is, but not as severely), so my mom kept nudging me to loosen up (not in a sexual sense)

A swimsuit looks more classy. I wear them when I notice that I have gained a few pounds. A bikini is good if I'm in best shape.
