I'd not say "sexy" but I don't think it detracts from a series about the guy. I think kilts can be attractive or not. But sexy is like saying "jeans" are sexy or a "skirt" is sexy. More depends on the person fit cut body type and possibly if it's really part of that person's culture or defined personality. If I say saw a person acting kind of an idiot not knowing how to carry themselves in one I'd probably more giggle then say oooh stud... :) so if you enjoy wearing a kilt wear it proudly in my opinion

I'm not from from the culture, so it would take some getting used to, knowing it is male attire. I mean, just think of cultures in the middle east and the tunics the men wear; they're not wearing dresses. Again since I'm not from the culture, I don't know how to differentiate between male and female attire but there is one, clearly.

However, I have seen photos of insanely hot, sexy ass dudes in kilts. So, yeah, some guys can pull one off 🤤

@Ninani i think i get what you mean but I meant knowing the difference when from outside of the culture. Like for the tunics, I don't know how to pinpoint the difference (I know there is one) between male and female attire in terms of cut, length, designs when it comes to the middle east. When it comes to the tunics here in my country (an African country), I can tell the difference because I was shown in detail what it is.

It does, but any fashion item goes through transformation when made more mainstream. Sure, traditional kilts (or tunics) may have a specific design, but drawing inspiration from that, anything is possible. It's more about finding cuts to make "skirts" for men's wear, like making trousers for women that differ enough from men's trousers to be perceived as feminine.

If you find emasculating a man to be sexy then yes. You should want to emphasize a mans legs not by a girly skirt but some galaxy print leggings. Those allow the legs to be showcased off in a more manly and sexy way.

Just a little reminder to men that constantly like to preach about how skirts etc emasculate men. Men were were wearing 'skirts' wayyy before pants were even a thing. Heck men wore a lot of the clothing we consider feminine before women even started wearing them.

@Floppy2112 He's not the reason I like kilts, though. I think they rock. The characters are very well written and realistic in their behavior and reactions. It's not all roses, there are conflicts on both sides of the rock with jealousy and lost love when she returns. The main part is that these people are actually mature enough to deal with it instead of causing even more pain, they reflect on their emotions and grow trough those tough experiences.
