I have worn toe rings for a long time. When I had started I would take them off and put them on. I had a real 14k gold toe ring that I wound up breaking by taking it off all the time. It's in pic one. I found another one that I really liked and I have not taken it off yet. Pic number 2. So do you constantly wear it or take it off in the winter?

I have heard that from a few people. I had some toe rings that were no good at all. They felt like I was wearing a nut that you would find in a hardware store. The one that I have on now is really thin and light. If you are interested in getting a good one I will send you a link.
Thanks, but I'm good. Just not my style anymore. I used to when younger. Had similar experience to what you describe. I'm sure there are ones out there that are high quality and comfortable.
That's the type I wear. I have always liked the way they look. The first one I had ever seen was on a female friend of mine who gave me one of hers. That one was not super expensive and I paid her back for it. Even before my tattoos I had always thought my feet are the nicest looking part of my body. Then I got my tattoos. My late wife had jokingly painted my toes once and I really liked the way they looked. I guess that I am just an odd duck. I hope that you are having a good day and are doing well.
I have found that if you get the really cheap ones that you buy 5 for a dollar they are super thick and uncomfortable. The one I am currently wearing is fairly thin and I don't even feel it to the most part. If I wear tight socks or tight tennis then I can feel it. Granted the one in the first pic was 14k gold and sterling silver. It cost me $90.00 and I couldn't feel it either. However with that one I had taken it off and on too much and it broke after a year. This one I am wearing now is 14k rose gold and I have not took it off but once. The ladies that gave me a message and pedicure really liked it. I may be crazy but I am wanting to get another one for my right foot. I want the one in the first pic. If you want to try one look them up on Amazon and you can get the good ones. Ouch.. sorry to hear she needed surgery. Hope she is doing better now. These are not a solid ring. They have about a quarter inch space between the ends. If a med tech has to remove it they can fairly easily. I am dreading an upcoming double endoscopy that I had to reschedule because I had Covid. I honestly thought I had a bad cold.
I used to wear toe ring and finger rings at a time but it got too uncomfortable that I don't wear them anymore. I won't wear toe rings but finger rings maybe I could start again after few years. I prefer earrings the most because once you put them you won't feel it you just need to clean it and that's it.
I had my daiths pierced at one time. I had it done to help with migraines but it didn't help at all. About 6 months after I couldn't get them back out for an MRI. Wound up cutting the rings and never put them in again. My toe ring I can barely feel.
