I find the female comments in this thread consistent with the modern feminist movement in western society that has systematically sought to emasculate men, and destroy the nuclear family concept of western society. It is an arm of the new world order philosophy with many brainwashed westerners living outside of evolutionary reality. At first modern feminism was about equality. This is no longer true. Females have come to see it now as tool to drive their hypergamous nature. Without being held accountable for their actions. To illustrate this here’s an example. There are 1 million divorces in the USA over 800 k are iniated by the female who will win the divorce. She will then proceed take his home his savings account and his children. Then she will take 50 to 75 % of his future wages in the form of alimony and child support. The government will not change it for they make around 50 billion per year if the current system. It’s a money making prospect for the government who has incentivized divorce for females in modern western society. The consequences of these actions are already being seen in society. Men are not getting married and are not falling this trick in record numbers. It’s just not a good deal for western men to get married any longer. I know these facts are unpopular among women , but they are facts just the same.
Unfortunately for some of you I see in the comments these effeminate men you speak of are not natural they’ve taken on feminine traits. What you are calling toxic masculinity is nothing more then a social construct. A watch phrase meant to attack any man who does not agree with emasculation. Where as a woman exhibiting the very same traits is lauded for being strong and confident. We live in a society in the west that allows a few very loud people to sway society. The majority are silently living their lives and quite frankly do not care. That is until they wake up and do decide to care. These will be dark times.
I mean their dressing style is nice and creative, i could try pull some of those looks off, but no pink hair and makeup thats just too feminine, i did research minimum make up i can get away with is brown eye liner. Its subtle, brings eye contact more and its hard to tell if there's any make up.
When you're famous you can get away with more flashy looks because its normal. In daily life many work places do not allow you to wear what u want and no jewelry. So you end up stripped od any creativity and left gray and boring.
Don’t Normalize K-pop please. Also don’t be stupid. Even those artists you have posted can’t recognize themselves anymore when they look at their pictures. It’s all fake plastic dolls. Fake nose , lips , cheeks , hair , all superficial to satisfy teenagers. All to make the western world follow them forcefully ~ yes forcefully because if they appear as they are with their true features they will not get this recognition. What’s the point? Plus K-pop artists are literally “kidnapped” they treated worser than porn artists , can't move a step without approval from their real bosses who uses them as dog bones. Why do you think
Majority “suddenly” suicide !
Just like squid games ~ if you think that’s a movie and doesn’t happen in reality you need to put some ice in your brain and wake up. where do you think homeless people end up in this real world , so many people get lost every 20 seconds! As we are speaking…
They gave the K-pop industry permission to expose what they do in a movie! That’s how bored they are ! Meanwhile the world goes crazy over such a show making them behind door PROUD.
It’s so sad.
It can’t get better.
Getting pfizered while watching squid games. And listening to K-pop in Korean. Randomly int us earth. Waiting to get a booster. Sweet.
i like it, but let everyone be beautiful in their own style.
in fact, i really like it when men tells women that he prefers a natural look without make-up, so that women doesn't need much effort to be very beautiful in front of him, bcs the man has already said that she is beautiful with what she has.
(but if it's me, i still cover it with a little make up bcs of low self-confidence 😂)

I get where your coming from but, their style has nothing to do with their sexuality. The way you dress shouldn't be so specific. Every guy in this comment section is dealing with toxic masculinity and would shame anything that they don't consider masculine. They can't even be proud of other men and cheer them on its so pathetic how narrow minded they are. Just because someone doesn't dress the way you want them to doesn't give you the right to hate them. These men here are literally shaming a kpop culture because of their conservative views 😀. Their the type to say a woman should stay in the house and take care of children. It's just a cycle of men growing up hearing about things a "real man" shouldn't do, an so they project their is insecurities in said group. And they are literally hating on anyone who points it out, ig the truth hurts ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
Because you are more likely to see a guy dressed as a Goth in the UK than some Korean boy band.
There needs to be a scene really for this type of thing.
Also we had New Romantics etc, which this is more of a continuation of.

Also you had Emo etc.
It just goes around, no doubt it will hit again with its own local versions.
What was the scene over there like in the 1980’s?
Just random examples
These are more extreme, it’s to highlight it’s nothing new.
It’s fashion it goes around.
Go to a Goth bar and you see loads of goths
Just no one pushes it in to the social media thing as much
sure for some it may be because they are insecure in their masculinity and afraid of how the public will treat them but for others it's just not their thing. some guys have no problem with other guys dressing feminine like or different but just feel more comfortable in what they wear. a similar example is how I'm often told things such as "you should grow out your natural hair it would look so pretty" or "you're beautiful under all that makeup you shouldn't wear so much" I haven't changed any of this because I wear what I like regardless of what others think would be more attractive. men having the option to dress differently from the norm is just as important as having the option to dress like a stereotypical average person.
Because males have the privilege of not having to spend time and energy on what they are going to wear, their makeup, or their hair every day. If the baseline for women were so low, we would take it too.
The baseline of acceptability in public for men on the scale of 0 being french fry grease stained clothes that stink and 100 being "on point", is probably around 20, maybe 30... For us it's closer to 85...
If a guy just throws on whatever is nearest to make a run to the Walmart, nobody cares. If we are going to the store and did that we would end up on People of Walmart. Sure, men get all dressed nice to go to dinner... They may put on a nice shirt and pants with no stains or holes, and in doing so they will hit 80 or 85, but for the same dinner we are expected to try to hit 90 or 95 if not 100... They don't have to get things waxed, or done, or get their makeup just so.
@Guffrus I didn't say it was for men, I said what was considered acceptable in public. It is a societal expectation. And yes, I embrace it, I just wish it werent a double standard
It just isn't my style, I dress more like a stereotypical frat boy, I like the clean, business casual look more personally rather than wearing jewelry, dying my hair, and wearing make up. Just me personally though. I like metal and pop punk music, and there is plenty of people in these scenes that dress the same exact way, so, there is plenty of guys that do dress like this, just got to go find them.
Those guys do not look like guys they look like effeminate push overs.
I'd be embarrassed to look like that.
I dress like a man not a boy and I damn sure do not dress like these guys.
Masculinity is taking a nose dive these days.
We can be better than this men.
I just want to say that my concept of masculinity does not include these types of images.
But that is a conversation for men. It is up to men to decide what they consider to be masculine. Women can have opinions. And we can either listen to those opinions or throw them in the trash. In truth, men should avoid advice from women about dating. . . women.
BECAUSE... those whom are 'important' to our daily activities,
don't view such flamboyant self-expression as 'mature' and trust-worthy
to be entrusted with their material worth and safety.
Imagine your being in need of neural or cardiac surgery and just before you
are anesthetized... your attending Surgeon is groomed like a K-Pop entertainer!
What would YOUR foremost concerns be as to HOW SERIOUSLY they took
the obligations of their career choice?
People don't have a team of stylists who do their hair and advise them on fashion and they don't have the interest to spend a huge amount on fashion. Fashion is a luxury occupation it's not something you do when you have other things to work on in your life. I personally am open to trying new things but only when I feel like my priorities are taken care of and going well. Clothes are not very important to me I keep most of my clothes 10+ years.
It's an exhaustive lifestyle choice which is awfully expensive to maintain. A man with such an appearance is unlikely to hold any job at which you aren't your own boss. It's attractive to you the same way as how women in Hollywood are attractive to men.
I mean, if you want your men to look like Korean celebrities why not try dating a Korean celebrity?
Ok, I'll admit some of them are looking kinda sharp, but the top two and the bottom ones have questionable senses of fashion in my opinion (not that I can talk). But I don't have to look my absolute best all the time though, just decently presentable. It just isn't something I and many other dudes think about, unless if we're going into a job interview or some other important event.
Lol incesure boys-not men- call these k-pop guys gay just because they take care of their appearance. These so called k-pop guys have so many young women as fans. It is also ridiculous how women are expected to take care of her appearance but men can walk like a monkey. As soon as we are attracted to men who take care of their appearance our preferences towards these guys get insulted.
Omg a Lana fan! Girl pls tell them their so homophobic and so unlogical 🙄 I'm literally scrolling through the boys comment side and literally lost my fate in humanity
Take into consideration the culture too. Men in Western countries might think it looks to feminine or it stands out too much. Plus, a lot of k-pop men have had plastic surgery so the look might not be best for everyone.
At least Korean men have been known for wearing colorful clothing since ancient times so it makes sense they are more open to this sort of fashion.
For the same reason no guy dresses how they want, style when it's not in the norm is seen as feminine and most straight guys wouldn't want to be seen as feminine. The rules are different for people above social pressure like K - Pop stars who also come from a society that values fashion a bit more of an egalitarian sense
It’s a stage look. It’s supposed to stay on the stage with exceptions such as the red carpet.
Why should they have to conform to your style tastes instead of expressing themselves in a way that they're most comfortable with?
If you notice that popular folks normally dress a certain type, and you have to dress according to your culture and what compliments you’re appearance, but while not in the public eyes they dress normal and some under dress so they won’t be recognized
Because it looks too feminine to me. I don´t find colourful attractive and I would feel with all that kind of jewelry like a trans.
I do combine colourful clothes from time to time but I wouldn´t feel comfortable with that kind of style.
I am personally not attracted to the kpop guy style... especially not if they wear makeup.
I just don't think a guy wearing makeup or this style in general is masculine and I am attracted to masculine men but I respect and support the style and freedom of expression of everyone
I think it’s a lot of time, effort, and money to spend on something I don’t particularly care about beyond not appearing offensive to others. I have trouble justifying purchasing pomade for my hair, which is only $15 once every few months.
Because no straight guy on the planet wants to look like a flamboyant lesbian. Even the kpop stars make themselves unrecognizable/normal when not actively performing or modeling for covers.
This is why I don't like k-pop guys, I totally dislike that style. At least korean actors look like normal guys.
This is something that has been on my mind for a LOOONG time! If guys dressed and took care of themselves like this, I wouldn't be disgusted with how some men look.
Guys in the west and uys in the east have two different definitions of masculinity. Being a pretty feminine looking guy is considered sexy and manly in most Asian countries while the opposite in most European and American countries.
Cuz they're lazy lol. Guys have it easy and they know it. They could do the makeup, hair and style like korean men do but that's too much energy. Honestly I'm just happy if a man is properly hygienic at this point tbh 😂
Men dress nice. Not all but some. The difference is even when they dress nice they don't look gay.
Thank goodness they don't. I wouldn't look at a guy dressed like that and assume he's straight.
That's a very stupid question. Performing arts is not real life, real guys have different jobs, social circles, responsibilities than to color their hair and dress up. Will anyone go to a doctor, lawyer, professor who looks like that?
Imagine a police guy showing up like that. There are different roles for everyone in society rather than just dressing up and performing.
Because whether you like it or not, people have their own style.
Because we're not gay, as the first part of your question implies.
Because we have a sense of style and respect our humanity.
K-pop dipshits look like they want to attract unicorns to marry.
It’s because the loop style is considered flamboyant and it’s a style that has exists with male pop singers for generation, from Boy George of the 80’s to current K-pop
Because they dont want too, Frankly neither do i, I dont like how those K-POP boys look yuck, But its your preference
na i like stereotypical blue collared masculine men
Because we have other things we would rather do with our time.
why r people here so mean these kpop idols r so beautiful
Because we have balls that need to fit into our pants.
I mean that's a neat style, but the "boring" style also looks pretty good.
Everyone should wear makes them comfortable just the k pop, the dressing makes them Unquine and comfortable
Because they look like idiots, I also don't sit down to piss.
What you mean like a lesbian? Well that would be because we're not gay women.
Because they are not kpop guys and in their society they might even get bullied for dressing like that
Lets see simply put MEN aren't suppose to be colorful flamboyant. hell as much as i dont like china they just recently did a 180 and are promoting Masculinity.
I mean I guess I could I totally could dress better than I do now that's the problem by not having any women friends to help me with that
If one of those assholes walked up to you in a bar…wait they wouldn’t get that far because it’s a bar.
No thankyou please i would feel like am in a lesbian relationship i prefer who is opposite of me
Some do, the likes that have enough time to do it.
(ps: I dressed like that before it was cool, but only for special occasions. It worked. Well, not like that, Way more slutty.)
I personally like the masculine look on me so that why I were those types of outfit but I think clothing wise I have something similar to the 4th photo. Tho the make up have on makes them look very different and make up is a no go
K pop is it's own culture. And I think it's more likely to be a hit within the LBGQT crowd than with straight men
Nah these guys will probably take longer time to do their makeup more than i am
They look fancy on stage or as a model though.
But i prefer someone like Jason Momoa
Because I think they look super gay, just totally not my style.
Because K pop male singers have a vastly different body shape from your average male.
What has been seen cannot be unseen
What men don't get is there is so much studies to prove that women prefer hearthrob type guys or flowery boys like Harry styles than super masculine hench built like the rock type
Look into female vs male gaze! It will shock you
What women don't get is don't take advice from fish. 😗
Rock is too "freakish" a fit masculine guy with a good style and walk will win out most of the time, especially if wealthy.
If you want to impress other gay men then go ahead. But im pretty sure not even a fish wants you
I'm married for over 11 years now and get approached by women about 3 times a week. Have had few gay men too, wife found that hilarious, tryied to get one to measure my leg height😅.
Anyway, don't take the "fish" personally, it's from the fisherman analogy. Hollywood stars, dating apps statistics, social medias and etc all support this. And even this analogy.
So if a straight guy wore hose heels and a flowery dress would you date him n eventually marry him? Just out of curiosity
We are straight men, you just answered your own question. The Gay, Moody Korean Clown style is not that widely popular.
Because we can't dress like homosexuals? We don't have girls brains trapped in men's bodies that don't include Vagina's installed.
I don’t care if some girls like that. They look gay asf sometimes, so no thank you.
i dress in what i feel right in and comfortable in?
Because straight men are straight and not gay. Derp
Because you find that appealing and other straight girls don't
I don't know if this style that Korean men wear looks good on western men
Asians have a more delicate and feminine appearance, it is because their women are very attractive to men from here in the West
Yeah, they look more like Justin Biebers.
